Frisk stepped forward to face king Asgore. The king bowed his head and nodded in sympathy. "Well then, it was nice to meet you....human." His large hands trembled as he clutched to his golden trident. "Goodbye."

A flaming ball of fire appeared and hit the side of the king's ribs and he went flying to the wall. "What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor innocent youth." A man's fatherly voice answered.

"My son...." The king was trying to recover from the shock that his son attacked him.

Asriel, the runaway prince scorned. "Do not call me your son, Asgore." As he turned to Frisk, his expression turned friendly and warm. "My friend....I realized that it would be irresponsible to let you go on your own...."

Luke appeared running towards them. "HUMAN, YOUR MAJESTY! DON'T FIGHT! OR ELSE....! I'LL BE FORCED TO CALL UNDYNE FOR HELP!!!"

"Well hello there..." Asriel smiled, seeing the tall skeleton.

Undyne, the caption of the Royal Guard, came dashing after Luke. "NGAAAH!!! Asgore! Human! No one fight....!"

"Oh....are you Frisk's friend too?" Asriel beamed.

"That's right, we're besties!" Undyne gave her a toothy grin.

"E-everyone....st-stop fighting...." Alphys the royal scientist, scrambled over.

And lastly, Matt and Jane strolled in....hand-in-hand. "Hey everyone....just thought I heard a battle coming from a mile away."

"That voice....." Asriel realized something. He went beside Jane. "It's you! I'm Asriel. It's nice to meet you."

Jane grinned. "Oh...I recognize your voice too. The name's Jane. And uh, same."

Matt gave Asriel a suspicious glare. Asriel noticed and smiled kindly. "And you must be Matt. Jane told me a lot about you."

Matt rubbed the back of his head, it appears that he misunderstood something. He laughed nervously. "She did?"

"Yes, she did. It was quite a story which I'd admire."

"Oh....I'm flattered. Sort of...."

Asriel turned to Luke, smiling. "You're a very good brother, Luke, you took care of your sister well."

Luke's pale face turned red. "WOWIE! I DIDN'T KNOW THE PRINCE WOULD COMPLEMENT ME."

"You're the best bro, bro." Jane smiled up at her younger brother.

Suddenly, a mass of thorny vines grabbed everyone, preventing them from escaping.

"Uh-oh....not again." Jane mumbled as the light in her eye-sockets dimmed into pure darkness. "Frisk.....run...." She struggled but it was no use.

And the tiny smiling yellow flower appeared in front of Frisk.

"I D I O T S! while you were having your lil' pow-wow, I absorbed the human souls!" He chuckled. "And now your friends' souls are M I N E!!! After all, in this world, it's KILL or BE KILLED!" He laughed maniacally as a storm of white seed-pallets surrounded Frisk's red glowing soul.

"N O!" Jane cried as the pallets protrude the soul.

.......

.....

....

.....Nothing happened.

"Friend, you can do it...I believe in you.....!" Asriel gave Frisk the kind, warming smile.

"That was close." Jane exhaled. "Hey pal, you haven't beaten this guy already? C'mon....you can do this, kid." She encouraged him as a magical swirl of purple light surrounded Frisk.

Despite being repeatedly tormented by the thorns, she did her best to grin. "How's that for a grinning trashbag, 'bud'-y?"

Frisk stiffed a laugh and smiled.

"While I appreciate the pun there, hun.....now's not.....the right time...." Matt gave her a wry smile as he struggled with the vines and thorns.

Suddenly, the other monsters appeared, they gave Frisk a enormous amount of words of encouragement. "You can do it! We all believe in you!"

Flowey grumbled with annoyance and impatience. "Urgh....I can't believe....Y O U ' R E A L L S U CH I D I O T S!!!" He crackled as a white, blinding light came into view.

Pain was indescribable. Everything felt like it was floating, Jane felt, as if she was slowly drifting away. She force opened her eye-sockets. She can't remember how she got there or where she is. A small child stood before her, eyes beaming with kindness. He smiled and held up a hand to her.

"Who is this kid....?" She doesn't know him....but somehow, he seems familiar. Striped shirt.....that kind expression....it's almost as if.....she'd known him for a long time. And that she'd trust him. As she took his hand, the memories came flooding back. Those past timelines, the moments.....all her previous memories, the good and the bad.....they came back. Even Ga-

"It doesn't matter anymore....the past is in the past. If I can't run from it, I'll just have to accept it. Right? Sans and G?" She nodded towards the almost unseen figures of her old friends. As much as she struggle to move, Jane can't do anything to help Frisk fight Soriel Dreemurr. She couldn't budge. But, maybe she can.....

"Help him....please." Begging wasn't really her type. And this is urgent. "Help me save him....."

They nodded as they gazed towards the human child and the god-like, powerful creature. They stood before Frisk and took the powerful blow of the rainbow-colored beam-blast, shielding him from the damage.

Sans turned to Frisk and whispered something in his ear that Jane couldn't hear. "Take care of Jane for me....will ya, kiddo?" Frisk nodded as Sans smiled and closed his eye-sockets.

Just as the blast stopped, Gaster and Sans shattered into dust. Mouthing a faded "Thank you", the two figures disappeared into nothingness.

Another blinding flash came to her eye-sockets as Jane squeezed her eyes shut.
