Jane slowly opened her eyes to find herself in her bedroom....with Matt snoring beside her bed. He's dead-asleep, his beautiful face rested on her bed, his body arched down from a sitting position to an awkward position where his behind is up in the air.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk.....not a very graceful way to sleep, are we now?" Jane smiled and stroked his fine and smoothing, dark-colored hair.

Just as Matt was about to wake up, Jane tossed the blanket at his face. Making him fall backwards onto the floor. Jane let out silly giggles as she got up from the bed.

"So this is what I get from spending the whole night watching you sleep?" He pushed the blanket out of the way and went to her.

"Not just that...." She kissed him softly "This too...~ and thank you for taking care of me~"

"Don't mention it. Just doing a boyfriend's job~" He smiled and blushed. "So, where have you been this whole time while you're sleeping? hmm?" He searched her face with patient eyes that almost gleamed, reflecting the sunlight from the window.

 "Oh....you don't have to know--"

Matt's eyes widened as his smile turned into a frown. "Oh Jane....."

"What...?" The lights in her eye-sockets moved frantically around the room then back to Matt. It hit her, the memories came flooding back to her skull. That dream....wasn't a dream.....they were memories, memories forgotten long ago. And now they've come back. Tears trickled down her eye-sockets as she remembered the other short skeleton who used to live in this world.....Sans. How could she forget that? Pain ripped her mind apart as she remembered the Ex-Royal Scientist....Ga-

"Jane....Jane! Snap out of it!" Matt had a panicked expression on his face as he shook her. Jane found herself staring into the void.....and the void stared back. A pair of holed skeleton hands reached out, they were about to grab her and pull her into the void. "WELCOME TO MY SPECIAL HELL...." A familiar voice said. No sooner, a pale, smiling face appeared.....it was half melted that its features are unrecognizable.

"NO! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!" Matt yelled and pulled her away from the hands as though he could see them. She fell against the wall with a loud thud.

Jane's eye glowed a mix of blue and purple as she trembled. "Y-you can see him...?"

"Telepathy." Matt replied, pointing to his temple. "I see what you see, I hear what you hear.....I feel what you feel. Don't be afraid, Jane.....I'm here for you." Matt stretched out his arms for a hug. "It's just an illusion, Jane.....there's no need to fear." He gazed at the void with fearful eyes. "A harmless, stupid illusion! A trick for you to see."

"Wh-why is he after me?!" Jane was too scared to stand up.

"Because of your fear! Because of your deepest and most darkest fear is with you, that is the reason why he is here, why he is coming for you! But hey.....look at me, Jane....I'm not scared." Jane's eye-sockets shifted to Matt's beautiful, forest-green eyes. "I am not afraid.....this is just an illusion." He reached his shaking hands out to the skeletal hands and tried to grab them. They phase right through.

"Jane...." Another voice called beside her. She turned to look and found Sans standing beside her. "You can trust him....he knows what he's doing." Said the old friend, smiling with tears in his eye-sockets. "You'll have to let go of your past, let go of your fear....."

"What about you...? I don't want to forget about you!"

"eh...don't worry 'bout it, kiddo....dunkle Sans' got it all covered." He waved the question away with his hand. "Forgettabout Gaster......forgettabout the lab, the experiments......Forget about me.....you have a future with your wolfy-boyfriend here," He grinned at Matt.

 "Hey!"

"All I'm trying to say is......forget about the bad experiences you and Luke had in the past....." Sans placed his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eye-sockets. "Remember the poem I wrote for you...? Say it out loud."

Jane's whole body shook with a whole bunch of mixed emotions. Her mouth trembled as she spoke.

"Don't forget what has been forgotten,

Don't remember what has been remembered

For time passes faster than rhyme

Bringing the past, future, and present together,

And love shall never falter."

Gaster vanished, leaving Sans standing beside Jane. He's starting to fade away as well. He glanced at Matt. "Take good care of her. And if you break her heart, you're gonna have to answer to me."

Matt nodded and hugged Jane. "Leave it to me....I promise I won't."

"That's.....that's good..." Sans smiled at the two and faded away into the air. "That's very good." His kind smile was the last to disappear from her memory.

Matt turned her to face him. "How are you feeling?"

As if what just happened was completely erased from her memory, Jane looked confused. "I'm fine....why do you ask?" She was oblivious to what has happened.

Matt smiled kindly. "Nothing, just checking whether you could speak properly...." He placed his hands under her chin and tipped it up. "You broke your jaw, did you forget?"

Jane touched her chin and felt a faint scar on it. "Maybe....I think I might have blackouts."

"No, not at all Jane....you fell out of bed while you were sleeping--unconscious. And you sleep like a log!" Matt wrapped his strong and tender arms around her as she giggled.

 "Really?"

"Really, love~" Matt shifted his gaze to where Sans was standing, and there he was......grinning back at him.
