"No no, like this." Mike grabs Els hand and guides her to an open space on the game board. "You can't put your 'X' on my 'O'." He lets her win a game of Tic-Tac-Toe, because she's new at it. She clasps her hands together and looks at the board.

"I win?" She gasps, Mike chuckles.

"Yea El, you win!" She claps repeatedly and cheers. She stops and looks at Mike excitedly.

"What's my prize?" She says quickly. Mike thinks for a second and then he has an idea. He smirks and gets closer to Eleven. He holds his hands out like he has claws and wiggles his fingers.

"You get to laugh." He says before tackling her, sitting on her legs. He tickles her waist and she bursts out laughing. She tries to push Mikes hands away, but this just urges Mike to tickle her more. She kicks her legs furiously while giggling. Mike stops to let her breathe. He has the biggest smile on his face. She's breathing heavy and she still lets out a laugh here and there; recovering from the attack. Mike hands lay on the ground next to each of Elevens shoulders. She realizes their current position and she blushes. She can't really escape because Mike is on top of her.

"You're so cute." Is all he could say before kissing her. They kiss deeply and for a while. Mike rests one hand on the side of her thigh, and the other under her; on her lower back. Mike thinks to himself:

Honestly I don't even know what I'm doing.

He feels like this is natural to him. He doesn't need a plan or blueprints to kiss her, it just happens. Eleven starts to breathe heavier and her heart rate increases dramatically. All of a sudden she feels sorta awkward. She continues to kiss him intensely, but she still feels weird. Mike stops abruptly and he's red and a bit sweaty. For some reason, Eleven couldn't bring herself to look Mike in the eyes. She couldn't leave either, because Mike was still sitting on her, even though he stopped kissing her. She felt like something was off; there was something odd going on with Mike. He stood up quickly and so did she. She looked down, then back at Mike.

"What's that in y-" Mikes face turns white, like he's seen a ghost

"I gotta go." He says before running up the stairs once more, attempting to hide his issue. He tries to convince himself that he has to stop doing that, but he doesn't do it on purpose. He's mad at himself because he let it happen again. He waited a while, and splashed some cold water on his face. He jogged back downstairs and sat next to Eleven on the couch. She didn't smile or even look at him. She decided she wasn't going to ask Mike what happened, because last time he didn't tell her, and he would have said something by now. Eleven still felt weird nonetheless. All of a sudden he was like a celebrity to her. It's was like she had a huge crush on him, but they're already more than friends. It makes sense in Elevens mind...sorta. Her heart would beat rapidly when he looked her way, and she would get butterflies when he touched her. She was certainly nervous to be around him, but wanted to be by his side at all times. Her brain is confused and so is her heart. He looks over at her and scoots closer. Her heart pitter pattered loudly; so loud she thought he could hear it. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. She felt safe, but that same weird she felt earlier. Mike noticed that Eleven didn't look at him or smile. He felt guilty of not telling her what happened, but he really couldn't. She would get confused or angry.

"Are you upset with me..?" He asked carefully. She looked at him for a mere second before shaking her head. She gulped, but he didn't hear it.

"Then what's wrong? I can tell somethings wrong." Eleven was flattered that he could sense something was wrong, but she didn't tell him. She just picked at her lip and continued to stare at the TV. He did the same thing. He didn't want to pry her, because that would make her even more upset. He respected her silence, but he was itching to know what was wrong with her.

"Lucas! Come in, Lucas. Over." Mike whisper-yelled into the super com.

"Yea buddy, what's up? Over" Mike gripped to walkie close to his lips.

"I think there's something wrong with El, over." He looks around his room, waiting for a response.

"Why? What's she doing? Over."

"I don't know, she's acting weird. One minute she's happy and stuff, the next she's quiet and shy. Over." He drops the walkie in his lap and fiddles with his pant leg.

"Mike she's probably going to get her period or something. My mom is always yelling about her PMS." Mike scrunches his face

"You think so? Over."

"Yea definitely...probably. Over." He thinks for a second.

"Thanks Lucas. Over and out."

"Over and out." Lucas replies with a cheer at the end. Mike thinks about Eleven for a while. He worries about watching her grow up. They're both at the stage in their lives where everything is awkward and the hormones are raging.

God,

Mike thinks to himself.

I picked a bad time to fall in love.
