Jake's POV

I knew he was going to come and take her away. I had felt it.  I had tooken her under my wing and protected her from everything. I gave her shelter and food. She was mine. 

I got up from the floor and dusted myself off. I closed my hands into fists until my knuckles turned white. I was determined to go after him.

I walked until I heard him say,"So wheres the jerk." I step out of the trees and walk up to him. "Right behind you." I grabbed him from his neck and lifted him off the ground. "Jake! Put him down!" I just starred at him. He didnt even move. All my anger was building up. 'Jake!" I let go and see him fall on the floor trying to catch his breathe. Alana fell with him trying to confort him. 

Once he caught his breathe he stood up and stared at me with those ugly eyes. "Jake Faninn. Huh. I got it from here. You can leave my girl now or I will kill you." I stare at Alana. Her face was just so beautiful. I walked up to her but her mate pushed me away. "Don't" He says. I continue to stare at Alana but she just look away.

"Run along now. You have done enough. Her mate is here. So I got it from here." Asher grabs Alana and they begin to walk away.

How could she do that to me. I took care of her. I loved her. She was my second mate. Wasn't she. The one that they put in my path.

Why was this repeating again? First Becky and now Alana. Both leaving me.

I continued to stare at them and I see her turn and stare at me.

She smiled and then out of nowhere somebody jumps at Alana and pushes her down.

I froze. I saw Asher throw the person. He got into his wolf form trying to kill her.

The girl took out her fangs.

Fangs.

She bit Asher and he fell on the floor. She stared at me and then at Alana. She ran to Alana but I was faster.

I jump in front on Alana and then feel a big hard punch in my chest.

The vampire let's go of me and lifts up her hand.

All I could see was a blur. But the thing that popped out was something red and big.

She had my heart.

I fall into my knees and look at Alana.

"I'm glad I met you."

Alana's Pov.

"I'm glad I met you." I starred at him and shook him. He didn't move.

I look up and see Asher finish the vampire off. Rimping her apart. Piece by piece.

I look back down and look at Jake. His blue eyes turning into a white color. His skin turning grey.

I slowly close his eyes and cried.

"Names Jake. Dont worry about the seat. Its not even my car." He chuckles.

The memories. Just acting as if it was just a dream.

"You were shaking until I touched you. So Im not going to let it happen again. Your sleeping with me."

"Alana?"

I look up and see Asher holding his neck. But I ignored him.

"Its okay. My mate rejected me too." He turns his head and he was also marked.
