QUINCY'S POV
FLASHBACK
"Daddy, can you come play with me?"
"No Mayanna, go to your room"
"Please daddy"
"Now!"
That was the last time I seen my little girl. I would do anything to get her back here with me. Every since I graduated and started working hard I haven't spent as much time with her like I should. We used to always go bike riding, out for ice-cream, we would go to play in the park. And if the weather was to bad or it was to late to play outside we would have movie night and I would play tea party with her. I can't believe I let my job get in the way of me and her, I thought I was doing good, she the reason I'm out here trying to get this money. I want her to have everything I didn't.
"So when was the last time you seen her?", D-Ray asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yesterday night. I was looking over some paper work trying to make sure my money coming in matched the drugs we selling when she came in asking me to play with her but I just told her to go to her room. When I was going to bed to check on her she was gone and her window was wide open"
"You didn't hear if she screamed or nothing?", my girl Lalani asked me.
"No I didn't hear nothing and I'm losing my mind man. That lil girl is my life, I don't know what I'm gone do if something happen to her", I was shaking and I had tears rolling down my face.
"I know that's my niece. She brought life to all of our eyes but we have to figure it out. Who would kidnap her?", D-Ray asked me.
"Nobody know I have a little girl except y'all and of course her mom"
"It's okay bro we know you still dealing with her death but come on you gotta pull through", my other brother Wood told me.
"I know. I'm good just I need some help finding her"
"Baby you are the biggest drug lord and a lot of people love you. Come on now anybody would help you, you're the only drug lord people love so how about you some of your boys to go around asking if they've seen or heard anything"
"Yeah y'all go. Lalani you stay here"
Once they left I had Lalani to myself. I just started fooling around with her after Mayanna's mom died last year. She be shady sometimes and she always acted funny around Mayanna to, she real jealous of her because I would spend more time with my daughter than her. Now I'm starting to think she have something to do with my daughter being kidnapped, so I'm gone need her to stay by my side 24-7 and I mean 24-7 she's not leaving my sight not even to use the bathroom.
"Baby look I know it's been a year since your baby mom died but look maybe this isn't as bad as it seems, now that she's gone we can start our own family and we can forget all about this", she said sitting in my lap rubbing my waves. I really had to think about what she just said and she's right I'm all aboard for this crazy ride.
