Chapter 3-Questions Answered

After I left the trap I went back to the house and I walked into Mayanna's bedroom looking around to see if I could find anything. Her bed was made and her room was clean which didn't make since to me. I opened her closet and a lot of her clothes were gone and her little backpack and suitcase was missing to. Her favorite blanket was gone and her stuffed animals. This is not making any sense to me right now it's like she moved out instead of being kidnapped. And the only person I know who wore a size 6.5 was her mom but she died so none of this is adding up to me.

"What's wrong bro?", D-Ray asked me coming into her room.

"I'm just looking around and thinking. Look all the stuff she loved is gone. It's like she moved out and she knew the person she went to"

"So do you think she's just living with somebody?"

"I don't know, I just know I'm getting mad. If they wanted her then they need to come at me on some grown people stuff so I can kill them for even thinking they was gone take my child. She all I got bro"

"What Lalani say about it?"

"She back at the trap in the dungeon, she not getting out because she said her boss is the one that wanted her and she ain't telling me who he is so I'm gonna go back and see if she ready to talk. If not I'm gone torture her and leave her there with nothing to eat until she die"

I walked out and went back to the trap. I left her there for about 3 hours so she might be ready to talk. When I went in the trap everybody was gone so they better be out looking for my baby girl. I went downstairs to check on Lalani to see if she was ready to talk and she in here sleep.

"Wake-up", I slapped her face leaving my handprint on her face.

"Oww why you doing this to me? I can't talk about her so just leave me here to die"

"You ain't getting out that easy. Who wanted my daughter and why?"

"If I tell you I will die and so will you"

"And if you don't tell me you'll die a worst death and so will yo family starting with yo grandma Pearl"

"Leave her out this ain't got nothing to do with her. And you just not understanding me but now I'm in a horrible situation. I didn't even want anything to do with this, if I would've known this is what was going to happen I wouldn't have ever got in this mess"

"Well it's to late now so talk"

"Just answer me this. How did you baby mama die?"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"Just answer me"

"She died because a gang killed her. It was my fault she was in one of my cars and they killed her showing me pictures of her dead body and I never seen her again"

"Did y'all have a funeral?"

"No, we didn't have her body"

"Well then you just answered yo questions"
