chapter 8: Friend

I was in bed watching tv with Logan right now, we were watching 'raising hope' the episode where the chance family was on the news about the murder outside 'howdy's east.'

I laughed when burt came out of the house while Virginia was doing her interview. "Virginia?" He whisper yelled.

I laughed when she made an annoyed face as he called again "what?"

"Do you know where my sunglasses are? I want to take the lenses out so I can look smart for my interview." He said.

Then it was Burt's interview and Jimmy came out in his underwear asking where his pants were. All of the sudden the dog started barking and Burt looked towards the fence and said hold on before barking back.

Soon the episode was over and I looked over at Logan who looked back. "Do you remember anything about your life?" I asked.

"Yeah why?" He questioned.

"Because I'm curious." I replied.

"Well I have a few friends, a brother, a mom and dad. Oh and I was in college I loved riding motorcycles and driving in my mustang." He replied.

"That's cool your life sounds interesting." I replied giggling.

"Yeah I guess I miss it though." He replied looking down.

"Aww it's okay Logan." I said, hugging him.

"So since we don't have anything to do, do you want to meet my best friend sharlett?" I asked.

"Yeah sure why not?" He replied.

I pulled out my phone and called her.

I rang a few times before she picked up.

"Hey girl." She answered.

"Hey are you busy I want you to meet someone." I asked.

"Yeah sure but you best not have a new boyfriend I'm still angry at Mark." She replied laughing.

"No he's not he's just a friend but it's a weird situation you might not believe me but you just have to come over." I said.

"Alright I'll leave in a second." She said hanging up.

I put my phone down and looked back at logan.

"She'll be here soon she only lives 10 minutes away but Let's do something fun to pass the time." I said.

I got up and walked over to my closet pulling out a bra. "Here put this on." I said, handing it to him.

"What?" He asked laughing.

"Come on put it on it'll be fun." I assured him.

"Alright." He said laughing, before taking his shirt off.

He adjusted the waste band so it would fit properly before putting it on. He stood up and started posing, which caused me to laugh.

He laughed before looking back at me. "Alright jokster your turn." He said.

"What? But I'm already wearing a - oohhh I got you." I said lauging, before taking my shirt off revealing my covered breasts.

"Wow." I didn't think you'd actually do it." He said looking at me.

Maybe this was a bad idea I was just trying to be funny but now I'm uncomfortable at him staring at me.

I put my shirt back on and tried to hold back my blush. I heard a knock at the door and went to go see of sharlett was here.

I headed down stairs to the door and noticed Logan wasn't following me, and opened the door to see sharlett. "Hey girl." She said, hugging me.

"Hey how are you?" I replied.

"Good how about you?" She asked.

"Good, come in I think he's in my bedroom." I said, leading her upstairs.

I went into my room and Logan wasn't there so we just sat on my bed. "So where is he?" She asked.

"Well I think right now he's just playing games." I replied.

"What?" She asked.

"Look I know this is going to sound weird but one day when I was going to sleep I saw a random guy in my room that I had never seen before. But I wasn't scared I didn't feel like he was going to hurt me, he looked like a ghost. And he said he doesn't remember anything after everything went blank and he showed up here. And now he visits me all the time and shows up whenever he wants." I said, all at once.

"That doesn't make any sense. How is that even possible?" She asked.

"I don't know." I replied, looking down.

"If he doesn't remember anything after everything went blank then he must be a ghost." She said.

"But he says he isn't and he has a fricking heart beat." I said.

"I don't mean to be rude but I don't believe you it just doesn't make any sense." She said.

"What how can you not believe me you're my best friend that's your job." I said.

"I don't know it just doesn't sound real.

"Whatever but I'm going to go to the bathroom." I said agitated, before going to the bathroom.

I was trying to pee when I heard sharlett almost scream 'Oh my gosh.' From the bedroom followed by Logan's laugh. I hurried up and went out into the bedroom to see sharlett staring at Logan with wide eyes leaned back on the bed.

"I told you." I said.

"OK I believe you but he just came out of mid air Oh my gosh." She said.

"Yeah he does that sometimes." I said laughing.

"Logan this is sharlett, and sharlett this is Logan." I said introducing them.
