Since then, an couple years after that incident, i have been completely used to it. Also since then i have been living in the woods with the pack of wolves, they are now my family and pretty much raised me from then on. Now that i am sixteen years of age, i spend most of my time still out in the woods but sometimes,like once or twice an week, i go out into the human world. I'm actually in an park, an couple feet away from my woods, and yes i do call it my woods since i was raised there. I walked out of the woods, dressed in an white button up shirt and pants that the humans would call 'Skinny Jeans', I headed towards an stand that was selling tea. I was craving it for an while now, this being the only chance i got for getting some, i decided to walk over there. Of-course i was getting weird glances and some stares from people but that didn't bother me much, more or less i was now also used to that as well. When walking up to the stand I ordered some mint tea with sugar and honey and paid the person, tipping them before walking away towards an bench nearby. I sat down on the bench and drank my tea, enjoying listening to the nature while also getting lost in my own thoughts for an while...
~~~Later That Day~~~
I have been watching her this whole time and she did nothing but sit there and drink her tea. I closed my eyes some and sighed, i must admit that this was the most lamest job, well not most lamest but it is lame. Honestly all i really care about is getting this job over with and getting paid. I opened my eyes and continued to watch her, thoughts beginning to run through my head. 'Why did they hire me to do this job in the first place? Shes just an girl....Why can't I make an move now either?' I moved closer to her, making it so she didn't notice that someone was watching, or stalking her. I leaned up against a tree that gave me a pretty good sight of her without being noticeable, continuing to watch her. 'Why in the world would they also call her the mysterious "Warrior or Girl?" She's just a innocent looking girl...' I thought. That was a question that had been bugging me since i got this assignment, and they really didn't give me anything so i could figure it out either....Stupid.
"Boss?...She's just a girl...Why do you want me to do this?" I quietly said in my ear piece.
"She's dangerous and we need to dispose of her quickly." He replied.
I sighed once again, this time in annoyance. I rolled my eyes some before looking back at the girl that i was supposed to be stalking and saw her move. She was getting up to throw her cup away. 'Maybe this will be an good time to go and approach her...' I thought as i was walking out of my hiding spot and towards her. She didn't seem to notice me right away and just walked back to her bench and sat down. I took a deep breath and relaxed some, not really believing that this girl was dangerous, i walked in her direction.
"Uh..Hello there.." I said, pretty much wanting to slap myself that instant because of what i said. What was i supposed to say though?...I gulped some in hopes that she didn't think i was an creep, and hoping she didn't notice anything weird about me.
"Hello.." She replied. She seemed to not really care that i was talking to her, and when looking in her eyes for an second, I couldn't hint at what emotion she was feeling right now. Its like she was completely blank, or she knew what was about to happen and tried not to reveal it to me. I started to become an little nervous and put my hands in the pockets of my sweater.
"So..Whatchya doing here?.." I asked, as calm as 'humanly' possible.
"I'm just waiting..Why do you ask?" She replied staring at me now, causing me to take some deep breaths to calm down more. "It's strange for young men like you to be here at this time you know."
"Its not that strange" i told her. Why would it be strange for people like me to be here? "I just happened to be walking and saw an beautiful girl sitting on a bench alone, so I thought why not go and chat?" I smiled, finally calm now and myself, kinda. What the hell was i even saying? All this small talk is going to make it take more time to do my job...The more time it takes to do my job, the less money i get...and the bigger chance of her escaping.
"Well not alone of people come to this specific area of the park, why were walking around this area?" Her face looked like she was really interested in the reason of why i was here. I sighed and thought for an moment, this may take an while...After thinking of what to say, i simply told her that it was an nice day out so, why not? She just nodded and said okay, making me stare at her face and watch her expression, at that moment getting orders from my boss to get the job over with already. 'Eager much?..' I thought to myself in annoyance and looked away, rolling my eyes.
"So why are you saying hi to me? Wouldn't it be more fun for you to be at an bar right now?" She spoke again, glancing behind her some before her eyes met mine.
"Nah, not really" I said. Did she just seriously say that...What the heck? "They're all just an bunch of fakes; Either they are drunk as hell or crawling all over you. Its an bit disgusting..." I shivered at that thought, thinking at the jobs i had to do that involved drunk people....and being at an bar. She must of noticed my shivering and laughed some. Again my boss instructed me to do my job, this time instead of ignoring him i replied. "Okay, I will.." I whispered as quietly as possible. I glanced at her to see that she was staring, no emotion on her face at all. What the hell is wrong with her?..
"You can stop looking at me like that, I'm alright." I told her.
"You don't really seem okay, you're talking to yourself...why?" she asked, still looking at me with that emotionless look which got me really irritated. I clenched my jaw, grabbing the knife that is hidden in my sweater pocket and glare at her.
"I seriously can't take this anymore!" I took the knife out of my sweater and pretty much growled at her. "This is getting really ridiculous, Ive been sent here to kill you!"
"No. You?? Not you.. You're way too nice for them to be sending you out to kill me." She finally showed emotion. She frowned some which got me an bit confused.
"You don't know me well enough to call me nice..." I clenched my jaw more.
"I must say...brave...Good lucking trying to kill me though!" She laughed and stood up, sticking her tongue out at me before jumping up high onto an branch. This action made my eyes go wide, but my anger grew more for her. Before i made an move, she began to jump from branch to branch, from what i could see it was every other tree branch in front of her. I quickly began to start running after her. 'Would i even be able to catch up to her?..' I began to doubt myself at this point, pushing myself to run faster with my knife in my hand. I was careful where i was going so i didn't fall onto my face or hurt myself while trying to get to her.
Taking an deep breath, i cleared my mind, continuing to follow her. She was toying with me, after an while she stopped jumping and just waited for me to catch up, why? After catching up to her, thinking that i was able to get her now, she just began to jump again. This was starting to get me out of breath right away, and an bit more irritated. What was my reason again for signing up for this job?...It clearly doesn't make any sense what so ever.
After what really seemed like forever for me of chasing this little brat down, she stopped and i noticed there was no more branches to hop on. 'This is my chance now!' I thought and tried to time it perfectly. I jumped up and was able to grab her ankle, quickly pulling her down with all my strength. There was an big "THUD" and an small squeal from her, making me grin widely while landing on my feet next to her. I turned quickly and moved so i pinned her down and completely sat on her stomach. I smiled evilly at her while seeing her be an bit shocked, taking my knife completely in one hand and without saying an word, i stabbed my knife into her chest and dragged it down to her stomach. 'This will kill her!' I thought with an grin on my face.
