"Skip the sappy story for god's sakes!" I glared at Hunter, he was smirking. I didn't know if a smirk could contain so much evil and smugness, but now I did. I didn't want to look at Alex, scared of the tears and his reaction. 

"Put down the gun." I said quietly. 

"And let you shoot me? How stupid do you think I am woman?" Hunter shrieked.

"Very." I was the one smirking now, he looked confused then the confusion turned to fear. I found my dagger and in a blink of an eye was in front of him, my hand through him. 

"You b****..." Hunter gagged and blood dripped out of his breath. I felt his warm blood on my fingers. Blood spurted everywhere, he slumped to the ground, joining the many corpses on the ground. I dropped the dagger and the confidence left me. I backed up and looked at my blood covered hand.

I felt scared yet proud. The drug was wearing off, but I had to stay strong. I stepped over Hunter and picked up the dagger. I wiped it against my shirt and pocketed it. 

"Susie! Are you okay?" I heard Alex and he pulled me into a hug. 

"I'm so sorry! I didn't know what came over me. I-" 

"You did the right thing. He's the monster." I looked up at Alex and I started crying. He patted me on the back and I knew for once, I had someone supporting me. 

"Self destruct in 10 seconds." A female voice rang out of the speakers.

"That bastard..."
