Inuyasha (MY WAY)

Reflection

They race through the woods, Inuyasha not far behind Karau. She laughs as he tries to catch up.

"Keep up slow poke!" Karau sings as she speeds up. A beautiful pond comes into site and Karau stops. She turns around looking for Inuyasha.

She turns quickly, but not fast enough when she's tackled to the ground. They roll round on the cool grass laughing.

"I've never meet anyone who is faster then me." Inuyasha says laying on top of her.

"You've never seen anything like me." she states trying to catch her breath.

Inuyasha laughs, "You're right." staring into her beautiful emerald green eyes. They lay like that for a while, staring into each other's eyes.

Karau pushes Inuyasha off of her and sits up. Turning to the pond she says, "It's beautiful here isn't?"

"Yeah, sure is." Inuyasha says. There's an awkward silence for a while and then Karau asks, "Do I really look like her?"

"Who?" Inuyasha asks confused.

"That Kagome girl, do I really look like her?" Karau asks walking over to the water.

"Yeah, the resemblance is uncanny." Inuyasha answers looking away.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm not me. Like I'm me but not," Karau says running her fingers down her face. "I mean just look at me. I'm a half-demon who is treated like garbage every where she goes." A single tear falls down her face into the pond causing ripples to dis-form her face.

"What was your girlfriend's problem back there?" Karau asks chaning the subject.

"She's not my girlfriend." Inuyasha answers annoyed.

"OK," she giggles. "I see the way Kikyo looks at you with that longing to be with you."

"What?" he asks. "And to answer your question; No I don't know what's wrong with her. Ever since Kagome died she's been really clingy."

"It always comes back to her doesn't?" Karau whispers.

"What?" Inuyasha asks not hearing her with is strong senses.

"You should get back." Karau says standing.

"You can come back with me, you know." Inuyasha says giving her a pleaing look.

"I don't think Kikyo would like that all to much." she said brushing off some dirt from her tight black pants.

"You could stay with Kaede." Inuyasha insits.

"Who's Kaede?"

"Kikyo's sister."

"Yeah, that's going to help me." Karau pulling her the white hood over her head. "It's fine really. I'll probalby go to the next town over and rade it, set a few fires, steal some food and head to the coast." She turns back to Inuyasha and gives him a sad smile.

"Please come with me. Stay here." he pleas holding out his hand.

"Maybe we'll meet again, someday."
