Harry did not like clubs at all. Sure, he loved music with all of his heart. But Harry was a completely uncoordinated dancer, he hardly ever drank and he hated being squished in a huge crowd of party fueled strangers. And those three things all were involved in a team night out at Club Rose. But despite it all, Harry was determined to make a good first impression. Well, second first impression if you counted the uncomfortable meeting that morning.
He spent nearly an hour trying to figure out what to wear. He asked Liam how to dress but the boy simply replied, 'casual', which proved to be no help at all. Harry gave up and settles on a plain black tee-shirt with tight jeans that had rips at the knee. He wore his lucky necklace and some dirty converse, figuring that it was definitely casual but he still looked pretty good. He tousled his curls to make them messy and grabbed his phone off the bed. Harry hummed to himself as he headed down the stairs.
He left his apartment, locking the doors, and headed out to the car. Luckily, the paparazzi had left so Harry didn't need any security. He hoped this would be a sign that tonight would go smoothly, but knowing himself it would probably be just the opposite. Harry gave Peter the address, sitting quietly in the back seat the whole ride to the club.
When Harry arrived, it was a few minutes after eight so he hurriedly made his way inside. The club was much larger than Harry expected judging by the outside. It was packed with bodies dancing to loud, upbeat music under bright flashing lights.
To Liam:
I'm here, where are you? -H
Liam responded almost immediately.
From Liam:
at the bar!!!
Harry took a deep breath and shoved his way through the sweaty crowd, headed for the bar at the back of the club. He spotted Liam and about five other guys, all laughing as the bartender poured multiple drinks.
"Harry! Glad you made it!" Liam exclaimed when he spotted Harry approaching them. He was wearing a dark blue tee-shirt, black jeans and crisp white shoes. He clapped a hand on Harry's shoulder and hollered for the bartender to get Harry a drink right away. Harry was pretty sure Liam was already buzzed, even though the night had only just begun.
"Thanks for the invite," Harry told Liam, taking a sip of the drink he was given. It burned Harry's throat on the way down, he cringed at the taste and had to hold back a cough. Harry definitely did not do well with alcohol, he was the perfect definition of a lightweight, and this was a strong thing to start off with.
"Anytime! Now, let me introduce you to the lads," Liam grinned, clapping his hands to get the other boys attention, "Luke is the blondie with a lip ring, he is our first baseman and an Aussie athlete extraordinaire. That fire-engine red head in the band shirt is Mikey, short stop and also Australian, who would've guessed? I mean, 2 on one team? Wow. And those two lads are Ed and Andy, they're both outfielders and basically the nicest guys on the team." Liam went down the line, pointing out each boy.
"Aren't you forgetting someone?" a familiar voice called from behind them.
Harry turned around, already knowing that it was Louis who stood behind him. He was flanked by an olive skinned brunette with tons of tattoos. Harry barely noticed the other boy because of how incredible Louis looked, clad in a low hanging white tank top and sinfully tight jeans. His hair was in a fringe across his forehead, so perfectly messy that Harry kind of just wanted to touch it. He was so good looking, so hot that it physically hurt Harry's heart, but Louis had been nothing but rude since they met and that definitely lessened his appeal.
