Hi guys! Thank you so much for 900 views, I appreciate all your comments and votes and just the fact that you bother to read my story. You're all amazing! Quick warning, the timeline for this is skipping forward a bit. They're on break for baseball now because it's winter, I wanted to incorporate more milestones rather than just more baseball. But don't worry, that'll be back! So just go along with the timeline and bear with me. Thank you!!

Fast-forward: A few months later

Harry and Louis were better than ever. Sure, the end of baseball season (lasting from the winter until spring training) was certainly helping a lot. They were doing more and spending more time together. Plus, there was no Calum so Louis had a lot less pent up anger inside.

They were well into December (it was the twenty first, to be exact) and Harry was overflowing with Christmas spirit. It was his absolute favorite holiday, after all. He was happy and excited and drink eggnog until he threw up. But Louis didn't quite seem like he felt the same way, which Harry just couldn't figure out why. There was so much to be happy for (like candy canes and snow and presents and their first Christmas as a couple) and he had no clue what Louis didn't enjoy.

Harry was in the elevator on his way up to Louis' flat, two drinks in his hands as he patiently waited to make it to the top floor. The doors dinger open and he strolled up to the door, using his elbow to knock since he couldn't unlock the front door with his full hands.

Suddenly, the door swung open to reveal Louis, who was wearing a dark maroon sweater with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of black jeans. He flashed Harry a smile and stepped aside to let the boy in. "Hello handsome boyfriend. Where's your key?" the blue eyes boy asked, shutting the door behind Harry.

"Well, I was busy carrying your special Yorkshire peppermint tea, so I couldn't get it out of my tight ass jeans," the curly haired boy said teasingly, holding the cup out to Louis.

Louis grabbed the cup with a happy smile, humming out, "You are the absolute best," as he took a quick drink, seeming uncharacteristically cheerful for the cold winter morning.

"I know," Harry grinned proudly, kissing Louis on the cheek before moving to step past him into the boy's kitchen. He grabbed a paper towel from the small roll beside Louis' sink, he spilled some of his drink on his jeans when he was opening his car door and was desperately trying to avoid a stain.

Before Harry could make any progress cleaning his pants, Louis grabbed him from behind and turned him around. In one swift motion, Louis lifted Harry up onto the kitchen counter and stepped between his knees. "I missed you," the older boy hummed out, passionately pressing his lips to Harry's.

"I was gone like fifteen minutes," Harry mumbled against Louis' lips, trying his hardest not to laugh.

"You're ruining the moment, H," Louis said, smiling softly as he moved to rest his hands on Harry's thighs, "I have an idea-"

"-If it involves having sex on your kitchen counter, I'm totally in," Harry cut him off jokingly, laughing loudly as he shook his head. Upon seeing the smirk on Louis' face, Harry knew that the boy was serious. "Oh. That's actually what your idea was. Well, in that case... I'm still in," he winked, trying to disguise how flustered he really was.

Louis laughed and ran his hands up towards Harry's crotch. "Like I said. Really ruining the moment, darling," he mumbled with a smirk as he connected their lips again.
