This chapter is quite a bit longer than usual, and it took forever to get posted. But I think it's a good one, so hopefully it's worth it ;) Enjoy! XX
Harry was asleep, practically dead to the world, snoring with his head on Louis' shoulder. The older boy was smiling, scrunching up his nose every time the plane would hit some turbulence and Harry's locks would tickle his face. Louis wouldn't ask for it any other way, though.
The pair were on a one way flight to London. It was sort of a last minute endeavor, sparking from Louis' sudden desire to sell his old flat and Harry's realization that he'd forgotten some of his favorite clothing items within his closet back home. And since Louis had a by week from the Mets and Harry was ahead of schedule on his upcoming album, the couple decided to travel together and make a little vacation out of the trip.
They vowed to accomplish their tasks first, Louis get all the realty paper work out of the way and Harry pack up the rest of his things. Then, they'd go visit with their friends and maybe swing by to say hello to Harry's family and then spend some much needed time together locked away in the fancy hotel that Louis booked. And then they'd be on their merry way back to New York.
Louis had something more up his sleeve, as he always did, and he felt more nervous than he expected to. Louis Tomlinson didn't get nervous. Well, unless it was about something pertaining to Harry, then he'd be a mess. He just really wanted his surprise to go smoothly. If everything wasn't perfect he knew he'd probably throw a fit. Louis took a deep breath and moved to rest a hand on his sleeping boyfriend's thigh, assuring himself that everything would go smoothly.
He felt better already.

They had barely touched down in London and Harry was already on the phone, dialing up Peter. "For old times sake!" he had said, though he really just missed the older man and wanted to see him. He was bouncing with excitement as he hopped into the familiar car with his favorite father-figure and his lovely angel boyfriend.
"Oh Peter," Harry gushed, "I wish you could come back to New York with us! I think you would like it, I know you would. Well, the busy traffic being excluded, that part sucks."
Harry was happier than he thought he'd be to get back in London. He didn't exactly leave there on a good note, he wasn't expecting to miss it that much because of his hasty departure and period of overwhelming loneliness. But, he did miss it, a lot. And he just couldn't wait to see his friends and have a little get away with Louis. It was going to be a great couple of days, Harry just knew it.
In what felt like the blink of an eye, the trio pulled up outside Louis' building. The blue eyed boy hopped out of the car, Harry following suit.
"Oh, darling, you don't need to come," Louis said quickly, "It'll just be boring paperwork and meetings with a stuck-up realtor, nothing you'd want to stick around for."
Harry raised an eyebrow, watching Louis curiously. "Are you sure you don't need me to come?" he asked, wondering why the older boy was being so weird.
"Of course, just go get a jump on your packing, okay? Then we'll have more time later on to spend together if we accomplish everything now," Louis explained with a nonchalant shrug, moving around the front of the car to Harry's side. He pressed a soft kiss to the green eyed boy's cheek, "We'll catch up in a few hours."
