Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for reading Rivals, I can't believe it's at 3.5 K! This is going to be the end but I was thinking of doing an additional bonus chapter set some time in Louis and Harry's future. Let me know if you'd like that! I hope you all enjoy this epilogue. Xo

Harry was panicking.

He stood before a tall mirror, hands shaking excessively. He was stuck in an endless cycle of straightening and readjusting his blue bow tie; he just couldn't get it to look right and it was driving him absolutely mad. His curls were too curly to be fixed and his skin was pale, making the dark circles under his eyes extra prominent. And the lint, the damn lint, that was all over his tuxedo jacket coming from God knows where that he just couldn't escape. This definitely was not how he wanted today to go, not at all.

A door swinging shut behind him made Harry flinch, causing the boy to practically jump out of his skin. That was when he saw Louis through the reflection in the mirror. And, man, he looked absolutely stunning, like a real life angel. His blue eyes seemed extra bright and his usually messy fringe was styled perfectly into a neat quiff. He had shaved too, the absence of his five o'clock shadow showing off his sharp jaw and cheekbones even more than normal. His tuxedo was fitted in all the right places and he wore a sleek, dark green tie. Louis was grinning from ear to ear, he had never looked so happy.

Harry wasn't sure if Louis made him feel relieved, or just more nervous.

"Hey there, handsome. How's it going?" Louis hummed out, stepping towards Harry.

"You do realize that it's bad luck to see each other before the wedding right?" Harry asked, trying to sound lighthearted even though he was genuinely concerned. The universe had been pretty against them this entire time and Harry didn't want to give it any more ammo to shoot them down. "You could be cursing us as we speak," he continued, forcing an uneasy smile to try and cover up his jitters.

Louis chuckled softly and shook his head, crossing the room to meet Harry. "That's only for a bride and groom. We're super special double grooms," he said with a fond smile, lacing their hands together. "How are you feeling? You doing okay? You look kind of nervous."

"Very nervous," Harry admitted reluctantly, feeling embarrassed.

"Hey, just remember that I love you and you love me. That's all that matters, right? It's all going to be perfect, Haz, I can feel it. We'll say our vows, exchange our rings, drink, dance and then we're off. Don't worry, this is supposed to be a fun day. And besides, I'll be standing right beside you the entire time," Louis said in a reassuring tone, pressing a chaste kiss to Harry's lips.

Harry nodded, taking a deep breath and letting a smile creep onto his face. "Okay. I'm okay. Thank you," he replied softly, giving Louis' hands a squeeze.

"I love you," Louis reminded him with a cheeky grin, "Now I should be getting back, Zayn's gonna have a conniption if he sees I'm missing again. I keep running around and talking to everybody instead of 'fulfilling my groom duties' so he's probably going to attempt to murder me. See you in a few, Popstar?"

Harry laughed lightly, "I love you. I'll see ya in a few, Captain."

With that, Louis pulled away. He slipped out the door, blowing Harry a kiss on the way out (which the curly haired groom proceeded to pretend to catch and stow away inside his suit pocket for safe keeping).
