Be ready, there's just one more after this until the epilogue! I'm also thinking about adding an alternate ending after the epilogue so comment and let me know what you think!

Harry was uncontrollably shaking. But hey, at least it was a good kind of shaking.

He was just minutes away from stepping off his jet at the JFK airport in New York. He was about to see his boyfriend for the first time in months. Months! Harry just couldn't wait one more minute.

He may or may not have spent two hours the night before in the bathroom; doing a face mask, whitening his teeth and taking some scissors to the abnormally long curls that now fell nearly to his armpits. (Yes. Harry cut his own hair. And he actually loved it, he desperately hoped that Louis would too.) He actually got a little bit of sleep, not much but it was enough for the dark circles under his eyes to lighten up, and he picked out a blue button up to wear because that was his favorite color.

Harry practically shoved his way out of first class and into the airport, stumbling through the connecting tunnel, his excitement growing with every step. Once he made it into the terminal he took a long look around the sea of faces.

And there Louis was.

The boy clearly hadn't spotted Harry yet. He was looking around frantically, his eyebrows were furrowed over his blue eyes and there were crinkles in his forehead. He looked... different. His hair had grown out slightly, it was messily pushed back and fell slightly to the side. He had a bit of a five o'clock shadow. It looked like it had been a while since he shaved. Louis wore a black tee shirt that was thin enough to reveal his new American tan. And he wore his signature jeans, the black ones that hugged his thighs so tightly that Harry just wanted to drop to his knees.

Blue met green.

Louis' entire face lit up. A huge smile spread across his face and he started to wave. Harry ran over to him, Louis meeting him halfway. He threw his arms around the older boy and Louis immediately moving to spin Harry around in a circle.

"Holy shit, I can't believe that you're really here! I missed you so much," Louis breathed out in a sigh, sounding relieved.

Harry pulled back slightly, just enough so he could get a clearer view of Louis' face. God, he was even prettier than Harry thought. "I love you," was all he said, unable to erase the dopey grin that was plastered onto his face.

"Damn, angel, did your dimples get deeper since I saw you last?" Louis said jokingly, pecking a bunch of little kisses all over Harry's face.

Harry laughed and shoot his head, scrunching up his nose. "Maybe. Maybe not," he retorted.

Louis moved to run his tattooed fingers through Harry's new short locks. "You really look lovely, H. I actually think that I prefer your hair like this. Wanna know why?" he asked with a hint of a smirk.

"Why?" Harry asked, lips pursed and eyebrows raised in suspense.

"Because now there's nothing to cover up your pretty face up! You know, sometimes those nice little curls of yours would get in the way of the view," Louis winked, speaking in a sing-song tone.

Harry couldn't help but laugh. "Well I'm glad you like it then," he breathed out, leaning his forehead against his boyfriend's.
