I searched for my keys in my purse cursing constantly as I tried to balance myself while searching for my home keys frantically.
"Viraaatt!" I whined like a toddler
"Yes" mumbled my husband facing me with his now- red and puffy eyes.
"No keys" I said making puppy face
"Hmm" he giggled
"I'll ring the bell?"
"No, Sangvi and Vansh must be asleep" he said holding my hands as I was about to ring the doorbell
"Then what to do" I said sitting down on the floor as my legs ached real bad with all that clubbing and dancing. Plus I was drunk.
"I don't know" he replied as he sat down beside me resting his head on my shoulder
"Hey! We can't stay like this all night" I said shaking his arms
"I can stay like this with you all my life baby" he stated
Look at him! At this situation even he doesn't forget his cheesy and cheeky(cheeku) lines- Mr. Virat Kohli.
"Plus" he continued "It's 1am. It'll be morning no sooner"
Look at us! Two grown up adults acting like kids.
"So you want our kids to wake up to their parents sleeping drunk in front of their own house!?"
"Ah that'll be something.."
"Not good." I said completing his sentence. Obviously, that would be the last thing we would want them to see.
"When did we grow up so much?" He asked pouting
"I've no idea how the time flew past so fast" I said raising my hands pretending out as if it was a plane that took off
"Haha" he laughed as he imitated me with his hands
"Not funny" I says smacking his abs
He just laughed again
"Virat. Just look at us babe, like we are parents of two kids and we're behaving like young girlfriend-boyfriend. Totally drunk-late to home-keyless- sitting outside like wasted retards. Like who does all this at this age?!"
"We do. We enjoy life no matter what, age is no barrier for us love. And you know" he continued sitting up straight "it's totally fine. We're living life the way we want to. There's no restriction that parents can't go clubbing" his eyes sparkled sad he explained enthusiastically
"But people will.." I said clutching his hands into mine
"People! Ooh I don't care about what they say. They are just gonna make a fuss about something or the else" he said as he got up and held out his hand. I held it tight as he pulled me up, off the floor and smiled.
"Now I've got to find a way for us to get in" he said enthusiastically
I couldn't help my self, but smile at his effort and enthusiasm. The way my dear husband tried to fix everything up and end up to be the saviour- hero. Well he was my hero, my one and only saviour, my knight in the shining armor.
I smiled sheepishly adoring my dear husband's handsome features. Observing his every move, every twitch as he tried to open through our apartment door. Droplets of sweats has formed on his forehead and on his nose. He was trying really hard. His face wad red now, and I bet his eyes hurt as he tried to unlock the door through that small key hole. Okay I can't bear to see him in pain and difficulty anymore
"I'm sorry" I sighed I finally rang the bell frantically
"Whats wrong with you?" He asked sternly
