Life sucks. It does. How hard you try to deny it, it really does. Even if you are Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, at some point it has.
Everyone around keeps criticizing the sucking nature of life; but did you, like did you ever think how monotonous and lifeless life would have been. Like life-
"Y/N! Where in Earth are you?!" Screeched my friend disrupting my thoughts
So where was I? Life, yeah -
"What were you doing, aren't you going to get ready?" She stood with her arms folded cross in front of me
"Noooooo, I don't want to go" I whined line a toddler
If I had forgot to mention, I was supposed to visit our family friend's 25th anniversary and their son's engagement. It were parents who were supposed to go, but I've no idea why they are pushing me to attend it. Like, okay if they are busy, No body goes, why me?! Why me?!
"Get up fat ass!" My friend pushed me into the closet. Yeah and the wonderful task of making sure I would attend it was given to my friend who was going on a date instead of accompanying me to that place full of fake people.
"Come on! You can't do this to me. I'll also go with you" I pleaded
"No way. I picked out this golden brown net sari for you" she said completely ignoring my request
"I don't mind being a Hadi in kabab as long I get to escape those people" I request again
"I do mind. Now dress up fast. I don't know about you, but I'm surely getting late for the date. Hurry up!"
"Stop being a baby sitter Bitch"
"Stop being a stubborn child" she retorted
"But-"
"Get your butt inside that Sari"
"You are, pathetic"
"I know. Now quick!"
I left my house half hearted, wearing something really heavy plus pencil heels, all credit to my over responsible friend!
"Bye." I said angrily leaving her but
"Oh! You aren't going on your own. I'll drop you and pick you up to. Don't even try cause I've told your driver to not pick up your calls." She smiled wickedly
"What the f-"
"Don't abuse in the engagment please!" She begged
"Fine! This is so bad! I feel like I'm going to court rather than an engagement. Don't do this. Don't do that. And definitely don't do this!" I mimicked annoyed at my present situation
Firstly I didn't like that aunty, because she was so after me and my height and my whereabouts! Like who the hell is she? Secondly their son- God save me from him; hope arrogant and boastful and pry he is. This family had serious Social issues. Plus I won't be knowing a single soul of there.
