It was the final match in The Eden Gardens, Kolkata- India vs England. It was a nail biting match to the finish. England gave the Indian team a tough time but then we had the the caption cool - best finisher - MS Dhoni and best chaser - Mah Kohli! They were the ultimate deadly combination! And yes! It happened! WE WON! HURRRRRRAYYYY! The city of joy was over whelmed and pumped up with zeal. Firecrackers bursting in the night sky and streets echoed with cheers and hots. It was the call of celebration!
After the ceremonies and greets we finally ended up in my Kolkata Apartment. It was Dhoni, Sakshi, Hardik, cheeku and me. Since the win had left us sleepless we were chilling in my terrace garden, the moist grass beneath us and beer in our hands. The weather was unbelievably pleasant, cool gushes of wind was blowing and the cityscape was all tightened up. The view was breathtaking!
I was sitting beside Virat, his hands clutching me by my shoulder while my legs intertwined with his. Right across me sat Sakshi, all cuddled up in Dhoni's arms and then there was Pandya - the poor guy was missing his girlfriend and was kinda the only non couple.
It was just perfect! Everything so calm and soothing in the middle of the night. Just the five of us - all side by side - where words weren't needed to express - it was like we could read each other's minds and complete each other's sentences. This was bliss.
"Guys why not play a game? Let's have some fun. Truth or dare anyone?!" Hardik asked hopefully cause he - I don't know why - was missing his girl - sorry to say - a bit too much. I mean don't we mean anything?! Obviously we did. Dramatic Pandya mood. Huh.
"Okay" we all said in unison. It would mostly be dare cause we weren't stupid enough to ask questions whose answers we already knew! There were a hell lot of maniac dares and all of us wee laughing off our asses.
"Okay your turn!" Sakshi exclaimed winking at me and simultaneously eyeing Virat. She surely had something cooked up in her mind!
" Sooooooooo " she said prolonging the 'o' in a high pitched tone.
"Ummmm" I shrugged taking the last sip of my beer.
"You have to flirt with Virat and yeah tease him in mawali style" she grinned and continued " you've to behave like a boy"
"Trying to hit on Virat" Pandya completed
I actually liked his idea. It was damn cool and fun! "You know I love you for adding that" I said giving him a flying kiss.
All laughed as he pretended to catch it, but Virat - a less happy on my consent. He was smiling or rather trying to - kinda annoyed, but whatever he looked so damn cute at that point!
I walked to the living room to grab Virat's Jacket and returned wearing it and trotting manly as I approached Virat, who was leaning against the railing, relaxing his back against it. I neared him, eyed him head to toe- checking him out like drunk pervert as I scratched my chin and leg my hand out for greeting and said cheesily "Hey there beautiful. Handsome huh?" Filled the gap between us "Come on babe! Stop all this drama and shy shit. Tum 5'10 ke lagte ho, mein 5'7 hoon. Toh aati Kya khandala?" I winked

All of us bursted into laughter. Our gut was aching hard now. I pursed my lips and smiled cheek to cheek. My cheeks felt hotter.
"Wohoo" Sakshi and Pandya whistled in unison.
Virat placed his hand on my shoulder and pulled me hard. Gripping me tight to himself as our bodies synced together- standing shoulder to shoulder.
"Finally iss gunde ko uski gundi mul gayi!" Dhoni exclaimed.
