Chapter 7: The secret is out
“You, Will, Dan, Liam and Harry against me, Alyssa, Robyn, Elena and Bianca,” Lillie said, stating the teams.
“Obviously,” Zach said in a ‘duh’ tone, “What are you calling yourselves? We’re already Midnight Mayhem.”
Lillie bit her lip, “I don’t know yet. Let me talk to the girls first.” Zach smirked and raised his eyebrow.
“Lucky it’s lunch then,” Zach said, making shooing motions with his hands. “Shoo, now. Go run along and ask your girlfriends.”
Lillie glared at him, “If I didn’t know any better, I’d guess that you are gay.” She smirked as she said the last few words.
“What!?” Zach exclaimed, “I am too hot to be gay.”
“And too modest as well.” Lillie turned on her heel and made her way to the Great Hall.

“So you basically made a bet with Zach?” Alyssa asked, eyebrow raised.
Lillie nodded, “Basically.”
“Right,” Robyn said, inhaling, “We are in some serious dog poo.”
“Dog poo,” Elena said, nodding and shaking her head at the same time, “Imaginative.”
“Hey! I don’t like swearing,” Robyn defended.
Elena laughed, “Neither do I, girl.” Robyn just glared back.
“So...back to the competition?” Bianca asked.
Lillie nodded, “We need a name and we need to fill in an application sheet ASAP.”
Alyssa pursed her lips. “Coming up with the name will be harder than the application sheet.”
“No duh, Sherlock,” Bianca replied. Alyssa raised an eyebrow for the second time that lunch break.
“Uh, what about Midday Peace?” Elena suggested.
Four pairs of eyes turned to look at her. “Are you secretly a hippy?” Robyn asked. Alyssa and Bianca nodded in agreement, while Lillie looked amused.“NO! I just came up with a name that was the opposite of Midnight Mayhem.”
Lillie raised her eyebrows, “Right.”
“Don’t believe me then,” Elena huffed, crossing her arms and movings so that she was facing away from her friends. The other four laughed.
Bianca thought for a while, her eyebrows furrowed, “What about Girl Power?”
“We’d be laughed at,” Alyssa answered immediately.
“Hmm,” Lillie thought, “We need something interesting, but not too mainstream.”
“Guess that rules out 5 Directions,” Robyn joked, referring to One Direction.
“Funny,” Bianca remarked, sarcastically. Lillie knew that Bianca wasn’t the biggest fan of One Direction. Although, then again, neither was she.
All five girls fell silent, thinking. A few minutes later Elena said, “What about Misdirected Madams?”
“Uh, madams?” Bianca asked, eyebrows raised. “I didn’t know we were madams. Or French.” Lillie smiled at the thought.
Elena shrugged, “It was a thought.”
Robyn had a thoughtful look on her face, “I like the idea of being misdirected though.”
