Can you come and make friends?

There's always this island that nobody comes from, yet there's always someone there. Only the bridge knows them. The people that use the bridge know about it, but don't care enough to check. Every day, the bridge talks to him and encourages him to come meet the others. He doesn't want any part of it, so he stays on his games and phone. He was always this way, distant from everyone and everything, being anti-social. The only thing he talks to is the bridge, but the bridge can't help him. All it can do is talk to him, but he won't open up. He did a couple times, even then he kept acting strange. The bridge knows this, but can't share with anyone. Nonetheless, would anybody care?
