04 - Wait, are you serious right now?

Eddie, Merideth, Dimitri and three other guardians who I didn't knew.

Wait I'm going to be their leader? Dimitri's leader? Eddie's leader?

Well this is something you don't see everyday.  I can't even control myself, they expect me to control them, to lead them? Well you picked to wrong person, people. Are they out of their minds?

"Rose you're perfect for that place. You'd be a amazing leader. It's in your blood." Dimitri said quietly, showing me the adorable smile he always has. But I'm still not so sure about this. Maybe he's right, maybe I'm not that bad. Who am i kidding? I'm gonna suck at this!

"Guardian Hathaway. We're going to need a fast answer so we can know if we should search for someone else." Guardian Croft warned me because I've been standing here thinking how stupid I'd look as their leader.

"Okay..." Why did I said okay? I know that in the end I'm going to regret this with my life.

"Great. We're starting from tomorrow."

"Wait, what? Where are we going? Aren't we gonna train first?" I was filled with questions but Dimitri's serious look told me to shut the hell up.

"You're going to Russia. First to Novosibirsk then to some of the little cities in Russia that are filled with the awoken." So that includes Baia? But I didn't ask him that. Are we going to Baia and Dimitri is going to see his family after he was brought back? Damn this will be a hard trip. "You can start packing. In 12 hours you're leaving."

We left his meeting room and i bombarded Dimitri with questions. "Why didn't you tell me that i was going to be your leader? I'm sure you knew because you weren't even a bit surprised when you saw me."

"I was told not to and besides, you dealt with it pretty well. Come on we have to pack." He smiled a little as we went to our apartment and started packing and when we finished we got to bed to get some rest before the flight.

We were already boarding. And it was taking forever. 

As we sat on our chairs I played my head on Dimitr's shoulder. "Do you think I'll have the same migraine and I'll see ghosts?" Dimitri turned his head to me and I sat up straight. His mask fell down and now he was showing me all the worry and love in his eyes. 

"I don't know. But even if you have any problems, I took something for you." I gave him a questioning look and he checked his pockets for that something. And then he took out a beautiful ring.

"Wait what?" I had a horrifying look and all I could think of was marriage. I think I told him that I want something like that when I'm 20 not now. Oh my gosh what am I going to say. I'm so dumbfounded right now. Damn, damn, damn.

"Rose it's charmed. I'm not proposing don't worry." He was kinda disappointed in my reaction. Damn. Now I'm dead. "Is it that scary to be proposed to?"

"No, no. That wasn't why I had that reaction. You know that I want something like that to happen after I'm 20. If it wasn't for that I'd say yes of course." I cupped his face with my tiny hand and kissed him on the cheek. "Because I love you comrade."

"And I only get the cheek. Thanks." Oh that sassy little-

"You're such a tease." He laughed again showing me his beautiful white teeth that blind me every time I see his smile.

"Oh look how's talking. The mature one." Oh it's on.

"Well in this situation I am the more mature one."

"We're taking of to Russia , please fasten your seat belts." We heard the pilot and everyone fastened their seatbelts. 

"I hope it works." Dimitri nodded and I put the ring on. It was a silver ring with a little heart on it.
