She's been in that room for two damn weeks. I gave her a chance and she blew it.
"Alpha," Connie moans under me.
Growling, I pull out and begin to put my boxers back on.
"A-Alpha?" I can tell she's not scared, just confused.
"Get dressed," I snarl.
"But baby-"
"Get dressed and get your ass out of my office!" I snap. She quickly scrambles to do so, and she then runs out of my office.
Once my pants are on, I storm out of my office down to Brooke's room.
"That's it! If you're my mate, you need to start acting like Luna of this damn pack!" I screech, slamming the door open.
I storm over to the dresser and open it, almost breaking the draw, and I throw a pair of jeans onto the bed.
She's laying there, almost completely covered, but the top of her head is visible. She hasn't reacted since I got here.
I storm into the bathroom, and I open the medicine cabinet to get her makeup. Before I can catch it, something falls out and I hear something come from Brooke's mouth.
"I'm free."
Looking at what fell, I freeze for a moment. No.
I sprint over to the bed, and I rip the covers off of her.
Laying on the white sheets, she's surrounded by scarlet, barley breathing.
I feel my heart shattering into a million pieces.
I swoop her up in my arms and sprint to my room.
'Peter,' I say through the mind link. 'My room. Now!'
