Tris's POV
It's like he wasn't himself. I know he's been stressed out, but so have I and we're supposed to be in this together.
"Tris, the shops about to close. I'll walk you home," I hear a voice say. I turn to see my family. My mom gasps when she see's that my eyes are red and puffy from crying. It hasn't been a good morning.
"Mom. I need to talk to you," I say. She nods and I lead her out back. I tell her every thing that happened. I don't want her hating Tobias, but I needed to get it off my chest. I could always talk to Christina, but she's too judge mental.
"Give him time. And if he doesn't come around. Leave his sorry ass," My mom says. I don't think I could ever leave him. I love him too much. Thats why this hurts so bad.
Tobias's POV
Tris comes inside. For some reason I think that what I said this morning were things that I needed to say. That needed to be said. I don't regret a thing.
"Tobias," she says. She walks past me and goes into Thana's room. She looks down at our sleeping daughter. The love in her eyes is clear.
"I don't know when I was going to tell you. I thought you'd be happy," she says. Is she serious?
We go into the living room. "Why the hell would I be happy?" I ask. "Lord, I had to fake being happy about Thana. I'm lucky I learned to love her," I say. That was a complete lie. Tris shakes her head at me, glaring.
"You can talk all the shit you want about me, but never about our child that I know you love to death. I seen the way it tore you apart when we thought she was dead. You love her. And if you didn't want this to happen so badly, why didn't you just use protection. I tell you every time if I'm out of pills. Don't go saying that you got caught up in the monent. Right now I can't stand you," She says.
I take a step towards her. "Your right about Thana. I do love her. I don't love you right now. At least Nita never got pregnant," I say. Her eyes get watery. "I really hope Thana or the new child doesn't turn out like you, you've slept with how many people. Peter, who got you pregnant, Eric, even Marcus," I say.
She bites her bottom lip. "Whats going on with you right now?" she asks.
"Maybe we should end this," I say. I mean it too. She shakes her head and takes my hands in hers.
"Are you drunk?" She asks.
Tris's POV
When I looked into his eyes they weren't the same. His pupils are bigger than usual and a little red. I know that he's drunk.
"Tobias, please go lay down," I say when he denys it. He rolls his eyes and goes into the room. I love that man, but the things he said I don't think I can get over.
