♢Chloe's POV♢
I'm sitting in my usual reading place once again. I just got a new book and I can't put it down. Seriously it's so good. I has me it's prisoner.
I take my attention out of the book for one second to see a fancy car, pull up in front of Noah's house. From where a very well dressed girl gets out.
My brain doesn't recognize the girl at first. But then realization hits me. It's the girl I bumped into in school. Yeah, the one that was a meanie for no apparent reason.
She must be one of Noah's dates or something.
I continue watching what will happen just out of curiosity.
She knocks on the front door and waits for an answer a few steps back. As soon as Noah opens the door she throws herself at him first hugging him and then... then she kisses him.
I get inside not wanting to see more of this 'show'.
°Noah's POV°
I open the front door and can't believe my eyes. What the fuck is she doing here?
She throws herself at me and kisses me. I push her away roughly, wiping my lips.
"What the fuck are you going here?" I scream, really angry at her.
"Can't I visit my boyfriend?" She says in an annoying voice I hate so much. She really is psycho.
"I'm not your boyfriend anymore Abby. You don't get to come here like this, kiss me, and call me your boyfriend, not after what you did to me. Not after you cheated on my with my best friend." I say, still yelling.
"But baby, I was in a bad place. I didn't know what I was doing. I miss you. Do you ever miss me?" How dare she?
"Never. That's nothing for me to miss." I say remembering what we had. I seriously didn't miss anything. Not after what she did. "How did you even know where I live?"
"My cousin told me a while back."
"Bailey told you? How did she know my address?" I'm trying to keep it down even though I'm about to kill her and her cousin. I don't want the whole neighborhood to hear though.
"She goes to your school. Of course she would find out your address." She says in a duh tone.
"You know you're both crazy right." I'm really annoyed with this bullshit.
"Look, I came all the way here to ask for forgiveness. I know you can find it in your heart to forgive me." She gives the pleading eyes than until a year ago got her everything. But things change.
"The heart that you broke a year ago? Yeah, that heart doesn't know forgiveness anymore. Not after what you did. So don't come here and try to get me back because that is never going to happen. Now fuck off and don't come back." I say, once again yelling.
"Well this is not the last time you see me. I registered in your school."
"You just don't understand when you're told fuck off, do you?" I say, storming back in the house.
I slam the door as hard as I can and run up the stairs, into my room.
I crash face first into my bed trying not to break anything, which is my first instinct when I'm angry. Getting up after five seconds, I grab my bedside lamp and slam it against the wall, smashing it to pieces. Well, that didn't last long.
"Honey, was that Abby Smith?" My mom is in my room now, watching me with concerned eyes. She doesn't know what happened. I just told her Abby dumped me not that she is a cheating whore that dares to show up at my house after all she has done.
I grab the first thing I can, which is a pillow, and throw it across the room. Not a very destructive thing, but whatever.
"Yes, it was her." I say sitting at the edge of my bed, my mom following.
"What did she want?" I don't want to talk about her.
"I don't know. Can we drop it?"
"Y-yeah. She coming here must have brought up memories, right?" She says looking at the smashed glass lying on the floor.
"Can we not talk about it?" I say through grited teeth.
I get up and storm out of the house. I need to go somewhere I can punch something to blow off some steam.
I came back home after two hours, my knuckles bleeding. After I park my car in the driveway I look over at Chloe's house, wanting to call her and talk to her, but I decide against it. She ignores me as it is. I don't want to make her hate me even more.
●●●
I didn't want to come to school today, but mothers can be scary when you don't do what they say, hence the reason why I have to go to school.
I hope, for her own good, that Abby doesn't annoy me, otherwise she is going to have a fucking bloody nose.
Well this girl has a death wish. She is standing in the distance talking to Chloe, who knows what bullshit she is telling her.
I clench my fists, making the wounds on my knuckles reopen.
I walk up to them, but not before Jacob. I watch as he swings his arm on Chloe's shoulders. What the fuck is he doing here?! He has nothing to do with this. As soon as I stop in front of Chloe, she gives me a disgusted look.
"What is going on here?" I ask them, looking at Abby harshly.
The bell rings and Chloe grabs her bag, running to class. Abby gives me a smile and walks off as well. I stay in front of Jacob with clenched fists.
"Can I say something?" Jacob speaks as I make to walk away.
"What?" I turn back at him.
"Chloe is the nicest girl you'll ever find in this school." He starts.
"I know that." I cut him off.
"Well then keep that girlfriend of yours away from her. She doesn't deserve her bullshit." He says. "Just warning you. If you girlfriend hurts Chloe in any way, I swear to god..."
"Why do you care so much? It's not like she asked for your protection." What does he have with Chloe?
"She is my friend and I just don't want her to get hurt. So just keep your girlfriend away from her."
"She is not my girlfriend. Stop calling her that." I raise my voice.
"That's what she told us." He raises his hands in defense.
"What else did she tell Chloe?" She keeps calling herself my girlfriend. This is un-fucking-believable.
"I don't really know. Didn't hear much anyway." He walks away from me.
She needs to get the fuck out of my live. I punch the lockers making the wound on my knuckles even worst. I need to talk to Chloe.
●●●
After the end of first period I don't see Chloe anywhere. Where is she? I do see Abby though and I plan on having a word with her.
I grab her arm forcefully and pull her to a place where no one can see us.
"Oww. Noah, let me go. You're hurting my arm." She whines. I introduce you the whining queen.
"Consider yourself lucky that you are a girl, cause I would have done more than just hurt your arm. You could've ended up like your fuck buddy by now." I say through grited teeth.
"I have to go to class. I can be late on my first day." She tries to get her arm free from my hold, but I'm quicker.
"Tell me what you told Chloe and I'll let you go." I sneer.
"I didn't tell her anything."
"Tell me now." I tighten my grip on her arm.
"I just introduced myself at her. That's it." Liar. "I really have to go now."
She snatches her arm away from my grip and walks away, not before she gives me a wave and smile though.
I could just punch her right now. How can a person make you so angry just by looking at them? Well Abby does that.
I need to talk to Chloe, but I don't think she'll talk to me now. I have to wait until after school.
●●●
I didn't see her get out of school so I assume she went home. As I drive a million thoughts fill my head, about everything.
When I get home and glance towards Chloe's driveway I get even more annoyed. Where is she?
I decide to wait for her. She has to come home.
After about an hour her car comes into view. Finally.
As soon as she gets out of her car I step in front of her blocking her way. She looks at me annoyed.
"What do you want?" She asks in an unimpressed voice.
"Where were you?" I ask.
"None of your business." She begins to walk away but I stop her, grabbing her arm.
"Okay. Sorry. Just... I need you to listen to me." Her eyes dart to my hands that are bloodied.
"What happened to your hands?"
"Oh, it's nothing. I went boxing and didn't wear the gloves." I say. "Tell me what Abby told you."
"Well, your girlfriend sees me as a threat, so I should stay away from you." She is about to leave again, but I stop her.
"She is not my girlfriend." I try to be calm. "She is my ex."
"Does she know that?" She raised an eyebrow, questioning me.
If I could, Abby would be dead countless times by now.
"She does. Just doesn't accept it." I sigh. "And she found out where I live now."
"How?"
"Her cousin, Bailey, told her." I say.
"Why doesn't that surprise me? It actually makes a lot of sense." She nods. "What happened with you two?"
She is getting curious now.
"Two seconds ago you were trying to get away from me and now you want to talk to me?" I give her a smirk.
"Shut up. I should know since she got me involved in this." She tries to reason.
What happened is a big part of my life. I can't just spill it out. This girl is breaking down my walls day after day and that should not happen.
