♢Chloe's POV♢
"God, her face was priceless. She had it coming though." Noah is doubled over in laughter.

His laughter makes me laugh as well and it actually took my mind off.

We walked a bit more until we reached the park as the sun was very slowly setting and the sky had a breathtaking color.

"We may have to get back." I say my eyes glued to the sky watching the beautiful colors. This is one of the prettiest skies I've ever seen. "The sky is so pretty though. I don't want to move."

"We don't have to." He says slowly walking besides me.

"You don't know my family. They'll freak out if I'm not home soon." I look up at him only to find him already staring at me with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Umm... T-Thank you by the way. T-The walk r-really helped." I mumble, my cheeks heating up.

"It helped me too. To realize something that is." He smirks and before I can speak he does what I had never thought of.

In an instant his warm lips connect to mine as his hand holds my face.

My eyes widen in surprise and in shock as his other arm wraps around my waist.

Weakly I try to push him away but no result. My heart is pounding so fast on my chest ready to escape.

His lips stay glued on mine as my face and my entire body is on fire.

After what feels like hours, but was only a couple of seconds, he pulls away and my face is still red and full of surprise.

The dim light of the sky hits his face perfectly and makes it even prettier.

Seriously.

"What the hell was that for?" I say my voice barely hearable. Thank you voice for letting me down.

"I've been wanting to do that for a really long time." He says a smile evident on his face.

"Wh... I..." Perfect. I mentally roll my eyes at myself but in real life I look like I've just seen a ghost.

"I wasn't going to waste this opportunity. I saw a chance and took it." He shrugs as if it was nothing but I want to hide under a rock.

He tried to walk closer to me but I push him away as my head is a mess right now.

I turn around and walk away before giving him a chance to do anything.

With quick steps and thoughts making my brain almost explode, I return home.

I run to my room and lock the door, avoiding everyone.

Why does he have to mess with my brain or my heart?

A knock is heard on my door startling me back to reality. I unlock the door and Stefanie's figure comes to view.

"Hey Chloe. Can we talk? I need to explain some stuff to you on behalf of your brother." She tries to give me warm smile but doesn't fully succeed.

"Sure." I say moving from the door frame to let her in and then I close the door again.

I sit on my bed and she sits on a chair, facing me.

"Elijah is just really mad at something else and he let out all his anger on his family. "

"What is he mad at?" I thought it was just dad.
