Lilly's POV
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Today I didn't pound on my alarm to stop. I was happy. Today is the day I am flying to California. I'm beyond excited for this. I made myself a quick breakfast of eggs and got in the shower. I got dressed, did my hair, BLAH BLAH BLAH. After I finished I got my bags together in front of my door. I checked my phone and it was 6:55 so I had a few minutes. I decided I would just take my ride in the elevator and wait in my apartment lobby. The car came and picked me up at exactly 7 am. Then it was a 20 minute ride to the airport.
"So what gate do you need to be at?" My driver asked.
"Um Gate 27 B," I replied.
We finally reached the gate and I tipped the driver and got my bags and proceeded to the gate. I went through security and got my bags checked. After that was taken care of I decided to get some coffee and wait by the gate. The plane didn't take off until 9 so I had a solid hour and a half. I walked along the shops and found a Starbucks. The line was super long but I got my coffee. "The things I do for you Starbucks," I thought in my head as I drank my coffee. I waited by the gate until 9 and then the plane was here. So we all boarded the plane and I set my carry on in the over head bin. They told us that it was about a 5 hour flight. After the pilot and flight attendants finished talking, I put on my headphones and dosed off to sleep.
I woke up to the pilot talking. I checked the screen that told you where we were and it said we had about a half hour left. So I decided to order a snack while waiting. We finally landed and I grabbed my carry on and went to the baggage claim to get my bags. I found my bags and then I went to go find the car rental. Once I found it they gave me a car and I punched the address into my phone. I'm so close to meeting them. I can't believe it.
Rydel's POV
I'm so excited to have another girl around the house. I love my brothers but it's nice to have a girl around. Oh what'd mom say her name was...Lilly...I think...yeah Lilly. Beautiful name. I'm so happy to meet her.
Riker's POV
I think having this reporter come will really help the band. We're thriving but I think we need more publicity to other places. Plus mom and Rydel will have another girl to talk with.
Ross's POV
I'm excited to meet this reporter. I feel like I need new company. It's been kinda lonely. I mean relationship wise. I know it's weird to still be feeling this but my girlfriend of a year and a half broke up 6 months ago. I don't miss her that much but I want another girl to talk with besides Rydel or Mom. Even if she's just a friend. I need someone new.
Lilly's POV
"Here we are," I mumbled to myself excitedly as I pulled into their driveway. As I stepped out of my car they all immediately burst through the front door helping me carry my bags.
"Oh you don't need to-" I started but was cut off my Stormie.
"It's no big deal dear. You're our guest. Let the boys get it," she said with a smile.
She then gestured for me to follow her inside. We went upstairs and she opened a door to a bedroom with just a bed, a dresser, and a closet.
"It also has its own bathroom," she said.
"This is perfect. Thank you," I said great fully.
The guys then came in and set my bags gently down on the floor.
"Welcome to our home. I'm Riker," he said putting his hand out for me to shake.
"Yes I know. I'm a fan, guilty. It's nice to meet you Riker," I said shaking his hand.
"Then you must know the rest of us," Rocky said with a smile.
"Yes I do," I replied back smiling.
"Well we will let you unpack and if you need anything just holler," Ross said.
"Thanks again!" I said as they left my room.
I then started unpacking. And I knew right away that this was going to be a fun month.
