Chapter 20- Tired & Shopping

Lilly's POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing.
Text message from Rocky:
Wake up Lils. We're going shopping for the party tomorrow.
Okay I gotta wake Ross up now.
"Ross wake up. We gotta go," I said as I got out of bed.
"Why what's up?" He groaned.
"We need to help your brothers and sister shop for the party tomorrow," I said.
"Why can't they just do it," he whined.
"Fine then. You can stay. I'm going tho so bye," I said walking out of his room and into mine.
I brushed my teeth and my hair into a French braid. I washed my face and changed in a pair of leggings and a white crop top. I put on my lavender converse, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs.
Riker, Rocky, Ryland, Ratliff, Rydel, and Jake were all sitting around the dining room table.
"Morning. Sorry I took so long. Ross won't be joining us so we can go," I said.
"Oh no. He's not getting out of this. I'll be back," Riker said getting up and walking upstairs.
"So what do we need to get?" I asked.
"Well, Riker, Ratliff and I are getting cups and beer. You, Rocky, and Jake are getting food. Ross and Ryland are getting decorations, lights and are going to set up music," Rydel replied.
"Wait, what's this party for anyway?" Ryland asked.
"It's just a get together," Rydel replied, "So it'll be us, Vanni, Alexa, Sav, Brandon, and um Courtney," Rydel said.
"Courtney?" I asked.
"Yeah. Her and I are friends. Sorry. I wish Ross wouldn't have done what he did. Then it wouldn't be so awkward between you too. She's really not that bad of a person. When her and Ross had sex the other night, he probably told her that he broke it off with you. Please be okay with this. I can't uninvite her. I just-" I cut her off.
"It's okay. I'll get over it. But if she tries anything, I'm going full bitch mode okay?" I said.
"Okay I don't blame you," she said.
"Where's Riker?" Ryland asked.
Then we heard a scream.

Ross's POV

I was just enjoying my sleep when I felt a rush of cold water.
I jumped up and screamed.
"Well that woke you up," Riker said laughing.
"What the hell dude?"
"You need to help us shop. Now get dressed fast and head downstairs," Riker said leaving my room.
I changed into a red flannel and black ripped skinny jeans.
I attempted to fix my hair but it didn't work. So I threw on a gray beanie and headed downstairs.
At the end of the stairs a put on my black converse and headed into the kitchen.
"Finally. But dude, what happened?" Rocky asked chuckling.
"Riker poured water all over me," I said.
"Awe is the poor baby okay," Ryland said laughing.
"Hahaha. Now what am I stuck doing?" I asked.
"You're finding decorations, lights and setting up the music with Ryland," Rydel replied.
"Awe I'm not even with my girlfriend?" I groaned.
"You're fine," Lilly said squeezing my arm.
I sighed.
I was pissed off I couldn't be with Lilly. So to calm myself, I just admired how beautiful she looked.
"You're so beautiful," I whispered so only she could hear.
"Let's go!" Riker said.
We all piled into the van that we bought awhile back.
Riker was driving, Ryland in shot gun, then in the first row was Rocky, Ratliff and Rydel. Then in the back was Jake, Lilly and I.

Lilly's POV

I knew Ross was pissed that he wasn't with me when we're shopping. And on top of that he's tired. Poor baby.
He was super tense so I took his hand and squeezed it to reassure him.
"You're okay love. I know you're tired and pissed off but you're fine," I said kissing his hand.
He relaxed a little.
"You know why this pisses me off so much? Besides the fact I'm tired?" He asked.
"Why does this piss you off babe?" I replied.
"It's because I'm so god damn in love with you that I can't imagine being apart from you. I love you so much," he said.
"Ross," I said smiling.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to say that," he said.
"I love you," I said.
Then I took his face in my hands and kissed his lips.
Ugh I've been craving his lips.
"Ew get a room," Jake mumbled from next to me.
I continued to kiss Ross as I covered Jake's eyes with my hand.
Ross and I kissed for a good 5 minutes and I removed my lips from Ross's as I removed my hand from a Jake's eyes.
"That took awhile," Jake said.
"What he's a good kisser," I replied.
"So is she," Ross chimed in.
We both laughed.
"Okay Ross and Ryland it's your stop," Riker said.
Ryland opened the door and he got out.
"Love you," Ross said kissing my forehead and getting out of the car.
We drove for a little more.
"Rocky, Lilly and Jake, your stop," Riker said.
Jake, Rocky and I got out of the car and made our way into the store.
"Okay Rocky, what do we need?" I asked Rocky.
"Well it's not like everyone's gonna eat that much so probably just a few basic things. Burgers, chips, dip," Rocky said.
"Sounds good. So we'll need like 6 bags of chips, however many pounds of hamburger, and whatever dip we can find," I said.
"Let's go," Jake said.
