Chapter 26- "You're Great"

Ross's POV

    I wake up before Lilly so I just lay playing with her hair and looking at her beautiful face. I placed my hands around her waist as she silently slept.

    After another hour she started to shift in my arms. Her eyes flickered awake and she looked up smiling at me.
"Morning sunshine," I said
"Mmm," she groaned and rolled over.
"Woah Lilly Shay, since when are you not a morning person?" I asked.
"Since the fact that my head hurts," she said.
"Sorry Lils," I said kissing her head, "On the bright side, three days until were in the beautiful Hawaii," I said smiling.
Her face lit up.
"You are the best," she said kissing my lips softly.
I hugged her tightly.
"Want to go downstairs?" I asked.
"Sure," she replied.
I stood up then helped her up.
"Oh I should probably put pants on," she said gesturing to her bare legs underneath my sweatshirt which was huge on her.
I laughed, "You're cute."
She smiled going over to her closet and putting on a pair of leggings.
"Better," She said.
"I mean nothing's better than your pants off, but sure, better," I mumbled wrapping my arm around her waist.
She smiled up at me and we walked downstairs together.
"Morning loves," Lilly said walking around and hugging my siblings.

Lilly's POV

    We all went over and sat on the couch watching tv.
"Hey Roc, wanna go work out?" I whispered to Rocky who was sitting next to me.
"Yeah let's go," he said.
"Ross, Rocky and I are gonna go work out," I told him.
"Alrighty. See you soon," Ross said kissing my head.
Rocky and I ran upstairs to change clothes.
I put on running shorts, a workout black crop top, and black Nike's.
I walk into the hallway and Rocky is in green running shorts and a black muscle tank.
"Ready?" He asked.
I nodded.
We got into his car and Rocky drove us to the gym.
"What are we gonna do today?" Rocky asked.
"Well I was thinking some mild-cardio first. Then we'll do some back squat, bench press, GHD, and dumbbell rows. Sound good?" I asked.
"Yup," He replied.
Once we got into the gym we both got onto a treadmill.
"Hey Roc?" I asked while lightly jogging.
"Yeah Lils?" He replied.
"How are you and Alexa?" I asked.
"Good. At least I think. I don't really know. We haven't seen eachother because she's been busy with family and work. I miss her. But whenever I ask to go out, she's busy," he said.
"Well I'm always here to hang," I said.
"You know Lilly, you're great," he said smiling.
I smiled back at him.
Once we finished running, we went to a bar.
"Okay what do you want on first?" I asked.
"Um, how bout three 45 on each side?" He said.
"Okay. Sounds about right," I said.
We each loaded a side.
"You go first," I said.
I stood behind Rocky, spotting him, as he did 5 reps.
"You're up," he said as it was my turn.
I started my reps.
"Okay um twenty five and a ten?" He said.
I nodded.
We each loaded a side.
Rocky did five reps.
I'm up.
"Now another ten?" Rocky asked.
"That's my max," I said, "I don't know Roc."
"Hey, you got this," he said.
He did his five reps then my turn.
I started on my first rep.
Damn I'm gonna hurt tomorrow.
"Keep going Lils you got it you got it," Rocky encouraged.
Second, third, then fourth rep.
Ow.
"One more babe one more," Rocky cheered.
Fifth rep.
"And done," he said helping me put the bar on the rack.
"Killing it," he said giving me a high five.
I smile.
"Now bench," I said.
We went fast through bench.
We then walked over to the GHD machines and each took one, grabbed a 25 pound plate, and started our 3 sets of 10 reps.
"Now lastly some rows," Rocky said.
We walked over to the dumbbells and each did 4 sets of 8.
"Now let's go home," Rocky said.
"I love you. Thank you for always coming to work out with me," I said hugging him tightly.
"Anytime. I love you too," Rocky said kissing my forehead.
We walked to his car and drove home.

Ross's POV

"Yep, Okay, see you then, bye," I said as I hung up the phone.
It was the record label. They want Riker and I to leave for the next two days.
Lilly and Rocky came through the door.
"Hey Lils. Can I talk to you in the kitchen for a sec?" I asked.
"I'll be upstairs," Rocky said and left.
"Yeah what's up?" She asked adjusting her ponytail.
"Well, Riker and I have to go to Florida tonight for tour purposes and I'll be gone the next two days. So I'll be back the day before we leave," I said.
"Alright. You do what you gotta do Ross. I'll miss you but I get it. What time do you leave?" She asked.
"We leave in a half hour," I said.
"Are you packed?" She asked.
"No. I gotta do that," I said.
"I'm coming with," she said.
I laughed and we walked upstairs.
I grabbed a small suitcase from my closet and put a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts in it. Then two tee shirts and a sweatshirt. Along with boxers and socks.
"Will you run into the bathroom and grab my hair stuff and toothbrush?" I asked.
"Yep," she said.
Lilly came back with my hair products and toothbrush in a bag.
"Thanks love," I said.
I put my charger in the bag as well and I was ready.
By the time I finished packing, Riker was ready to go.
We walked down to the front door.
"Bye Lils. I love you. See you soon," I said hugging her tightly.
"Love you too Ross. Be safe," she said kissing my lips.
I hugged her one last time and then Riker and I were off.
