Chapter 23- "See you later"

                                  Lilly's POV

    BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I woke up to my alarm.
Today's the day.
Jake leaves.
I'm not ready for him to go.
I let a few tears roll down my cheeks before I woke Jake up.
"Jake wake up!" I whispered shaking him slightly.
"Okay," he mumbled sitting up.
I walked to my closet and grabbed a sweatshirt, put it on, and slid on my white crocs along with a pair of sweatpants.
Jake changed into gray sweatpants and a red sweatshirt.
"Ready?" I asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be," he replied.
I grabbed my phone and Jake grabbed his suitcase and we made our way downstairs.
Ross was waiting in the living room as was the rest of the family.
"See ya bro. It was great jamming out with you," Rocky said giving Jake a bro hug.
"See ya Jake. Fun hanging out with you," Riker said doing the same.
"Party animal DUDE. Come back anytime," Ryland said also doing the same.
"Bye Jake!!" Rydel said hugging Jake.
"See ya dude," Ellington said bro hugging Jake.
"And I'll say bye at the airport," Ross said.
"Let's go I guess," I said.
Us three walked outside and Jake put his suitcase in the trunk of Ross's car.
I sat in the back with Jake as Ross drove.
I held myself close to his chest and just cried.
"Shh, babe it's okay," Jake whispered stroking my hair.
I just kept crying.

We walked in the doors of the airport gate.
"I guess this is it," Ross said to Jake, "Thank you for hanging out with my family and I. I really appreciate it dude. Come back anytime," Ross said shaking Jake's hand.
"Thanks. And hey, take care of her. She's my best friend," Jake said.
"And you. God Lilly. Let's make this short before I start crying. I love you okay? I'll see you soon. Don't do anything stupid and don't get hurt while we're apart okay?" Jake said.
"Okay. I love you Jake," I said.
I then broke down crying harder.
He pulled me into his chest.
"Hey it's okay love. I gotta go now okay? I love you. I'll FaceTime you when I get home. See you later. Bye," he whispered kissing my head.
I let go of him and watched him walk to the gate.

                                  Ross's POV

    Lilly stood there watching Jake walk onto his plane.
"Babe come here," I said pulling her into my arms.
"I didn't *sob* think *sob* this would hurt so bad," she sobbed.
"I know baby I know. Let's just go back to my place okay?" I said.
She nodded.
We walked to my car and I opened the door for her to get in.
I got in started driving, placing my hand in hers.

When we got back home I picked her up and carried her upstairs into my room.
"I'm so sorry love," I whispered to her as I kissed her forehead.
"Just hold me," she whispered.
I did as she'd asked and pulled her to my chest wrapping my arms around her waist.
Her phone started to buzz from the night stand next to me.
"Could you grab my phone?" She croaked out.
I nodded grabbing her phone and handing it to her.
It was Jake face timing her.

FaceTime call:
J: Hey love I'm home! You alright?
L: I've been better but I'm happy you're home safely.
J: I'm sorry love. We'll see eachother soon.
L: We better. Now go set up a date with that girl. You deserve a night out.
J: Okay love. See ya.
L: Bye. Love you
J: Love you too
End of FaceTime

"You sure you're okay?" I asked.
"I'll be alright. But for now I just wanna sleep. It's only 7," she said.
"Okay sleep love," I said.
She nodded.
I realized I was a little tired too and we both dosed off.
                                        *
"Babe! Babe!" I heard Lilly whispering.
"Yes love?" I mumbled.
"I'm gonna go work out. Whenever I'm upset I like to go and work out. It's this weird habit of mine," She asked.
"You want me to come with?" I mumbled still half asleep.
"I was thinking I'd ask Rocky. Cuz he's my workout buddy and he's awake. Plus I want you to get your rest. Now go to sleep. I'll be back soon," she said.
"Okay. I love you. Be safe," I said.
"Love you too. And I will," she said softly kissing my lips.
I smiled then slowing drifted back to sleep.
