(In this one shot, Riley and Farkle are 16 and Lucas is 17. So is Maya. (She's 17))

Riley's POV:

I sit on the bay window, waiting for Lucas and Farkle to arrive.

I'm scared for what is going to happen.

I don't want to hurt either of them.

But I have made my decision.

For once and for all, the triangle will come to an end.

I take in a deep breath, then I let it out.

I hope this ends well.

Farkle and Lucas climb in through the open at window and sit down next to me.

Lucas on my left.

Farkle on my right.

"Hi." Lucas says with a small smile.

"Hi." I reply.

"Hey sunshine." Farkle says, using my nickname that he gave me in the first grade.

"Hey Farkle." I say smiling back.

"So this is it huh? The triangle is gonna end?" Lucas asks. I nod.

"Alright. Whatever your answer is, just know that I'll always be right here." says Farkle.

"Me too." Lucas says with a half smile.

"Thank you." They both nod. "Farkle?"

"Yea?"

"Could you please go wait in the hallway? I want to tell you guys separate." I say looking at him with a small smile.

He nods and walks out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

I turn to Lucas.

"Hi."

"You chose him. Didn't you?" Lucas asks, a smile on his face.

"What?" I ask confused. "How did you-"

"I see the way you look at him, Riley. You love him. I know, because that's the way you used to look at me." He says, looking down at his lap for a few seconds.

"You're right. I do love him." I say quietly. "I'm sorry, Lucas." He shakes his head, a smile still on his face.

"Don't apologize. You shouldn't be sorry. I actually was going to tell you to pick him if you chose me." He says with a chuckle.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Because I realized that I am in love with someone else." He says with a smile.

"Really? That's great. Who is it?" I ask.

"Maya."

I can't help but squeal.

"Oh my gosh, really? That's great! Fantastic!" I say happily. I lean over and hug him.

"Yea. I told her a few days ago." says Lucas.

"What did she say?"

"She told me that she's been in love with me since the day we met on the subway." He says with a big smile, a blush creeping onto his cheeks.

I squeal again. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I say jumping up and down.

I sit down and we both laugh.

"So lucaya is official huh?" I ask with a smirk on my lips.

"Lu-what?" Lucas asks me confused.

"Lucaya. It's your guys' ship name." I say with a proud smile.

He laughs and nods. "Alright. Well, I better get going. Now go get Farkle and tell him you love him. Bye Riles." He leans over and hugs me one last time before climbing back out the bay window.

"I love you Farkle. Four words. Don't screw this up Riley." I say to myself.

I stand up, walk over to my door and open it. I stumble back a bit, surprise to see Farkle waiting right outside the door. Farkle looks down at me with a tear rolling down his cheek and a smile on his face.

"Farkle, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I ask with a worried tone. I grab his hand and pull him into my room, shutting the door behind us.

"I've waited 10 years to hear you say those words." He says in a quiet tone.

Then, before I could say anything, he kissed me.

His hands cupped on my cheeks, as mine found their way to his neck.

I kiss back, our lips moving in sync.

He snakes his right arm around my waist, pulling my body closer to his, his left hand still on my cheek.

His lips are soft and he tastes like candy.

He pulls away and we are both gasping for air.

"And I love you." He says with a big goofy grin.

I smile at him before leaning up and kissing him again.
