"Galina?" Ilia said softly. "Hmm?" she answered. "Marry me tomorrow night."
Galina just stared at Ilia like he'd grown an extra head. She blinked several times while processing what was just said to her.
"Oh Ilia!" she cried as she threw herself into his arms. "Yes! I will marry you tomorrow night!" He felt the weight of the world rolling off his shoulders at her answer.
Kissing her felt so freeing. His mind, body, soul and heart felt more free than it had in years and it was all because of this beautiful woman at his side.
"Are you alright with not having a big wedding an all that goes with it?" he asked her. Her hands were folded across his chest, her chin resting on them. She was pretty, young and innocent looking, such a contrast to his dark and mature aura.
"Ilia, we could be married in a forest with only the rocks, trees and birds as witnesses and it wouldn't matter to me. That's not what it's all about anyway" she assured him as she planted a kiss on his chest.
He heaved a sigh of relieve. She was so completely unspoiled and he wished, now more than ever, that Zoya was still here. He would not only give her a huge hug, but he would thank her for the wonderful job she did in raising such an amazing person.
"I do have one request though" she said to Ilia. "And what's that my little kot?" he replied. "Could Tori stand up with me? I'm mean since she's my cousin and family, I would love to include her" she told him.
"Anything you want my precious" he said kissing her on the head. "We have a small chapel here on the grounds. It will be the priest, you and I, Tori and Maxim. I thought, if you wanted, that we could go back to the cottage for our honeymoon."
"Ilia, I can't think of a better place to go. It is where you proposed to me after all" she said giving him the brightest smile.
"Khorosho (good)!" he said. "Tori is going to take you into town so you can find a dress and she needs to get her one too. Get anything you think you might need while there. Have fun and relax with your cousin" he told her.
"Now, go take a shower and get ready" he told her. But she had other plans first. She was so happy and her heart was so full, she had to thank him properly and she did just that.
Galina got up out of bed, smiling to have left a panting and wore out Ilia in the middle of their bed. She couldn't help but smirk over the hold she had on him. He wasn't so big and tough when it came to her and her touch.
She picked up her phone on her way into the bathroom and called Tori. Her cousin was very happy for them and said that she would love to do a shopping trip. Ilia had already told Galina that Erik and Yuri would be accompanying them into town.
After showering, she pulled on a cute sundress and sandals. This was the perfect thing to wear since she would be trying on dresses. And speaking of dresses, she'd always told Zoya that when she married, she wanted a vintage wedding dress and that's what she was going to look for today.
Once Tori arrived, she kissed Ilia and started to walk away when he caught her hand and brought her back to him. "I want you to take this" he said putting his black card in her hand. "Oh Ilia" she said. "Are you sure?" she asked sweetly. He kissed her forehead. "I am going to be your husband and I will be providing for you from now on, so yes I'm sure. I love you and I want you to have everything you want."
She looked at him adoringly and said "But I do have everything I want. You. The rest" she said signaling to all that was around them "Is just extra." He kissed her passionately, patted her on the butt and told her to go.
