(continuation of chapter 54)
Galina and Tori were talking ninety miles an hour as they traipsed up the stairs with their purchases. Tori had suggested that they move everything that they would need for the wedding into one of the guest bedrooms that had a bathroom. That way they could get ready and not have to worry about Ilia or Maxim seeing either one of them.
Tori suggested that Galina go head and pack her bag and Ilia's for the honeymoon. What Galina didn't know was that her cousin was trying to keep her busy so she could go see to the chapel.
She had made some calls while Galina was trying on wedding dresses and had Yuri go pick up the things that she would need. It was going to be simple yet elegant and it would also be easy to clean it all up afterwards.
She had stuck her head in Galina's room and told her that she would be back in about an hour and they would begin playing around with hairstyles and makeup.
Galina was humming to herself while she packed. Carefully removing all the tags from her lingerie, she folded it and placed it on the very bottom. She couldn't chance Ilia seeing it.
Then she chose her best bra and panty sets, a few casual dresses and one fancy dress. She didn't know if Ilia had any plans for them to go somewhere nice, but she would be prepared either way.
Next, she grabbed Ilia's bag and pulled out his sweats and a few tank shirts, his underwear and a nice pair of jeans and nice shirt. She would pack their toiletries as the last thing tomorrow night.
She sat down for a moment and took a breath. This was all happening so fast. She'd only known Ilia for two months and she was already getting married. She wasn't panicking or thinking of backing out, she just marveled at how quickly it had all happened.
Zipping up Ilia's bag, she moved it off the bed and was preparing to step into the bathroom when she heard Ilia's voice. "Hey baby" his sexy accented voice driving her crazy.
She walked over to him, stood on her tip-toes and threw her arms around his neck. She felt his hands slide down her back to cup her behind and then he lifted her and carried her to the bed.
They didn't have sex but they engaged in very passionate kissing and touching and for the both of them it felt like it was enough.
"Oh Ilia" Galina moaned as he attacked her neck with open-mouthed kisses. "Tell me baby" he urged. She sighed and said "I love you so much and you have made me so happy. I hope you know this, detka."
"I do know this, Galina. You have never denied me your feelings and I love you too. So much and I can't wait to marry you" he told her softly.
They had picked back up on their kissing when there was a soft knocking on their bedroom door. Ilia sighed and said "I guess we'll pick this up later?" Pulling him back down for one more intimate kiss, she nodded and watched him get up to answer the door.
It was Tori. "Sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you guys but Ilia, Max needs to see you" she said. He nodded and gave Galina one more kiss and told them both to have fun.
"You ready to play with your hair and makeup?" she asked Galina excitedly. Nodding yes, Galina gathered up her bag of hair products such as curlers and her flat iron along with her bag of makeup and they set off for the guest bedroom.
The first thing Tori did was straighten Galina's hair. They both agreed that while her hair looked gorgeous straight, she needed something with a little more oomph since she was getting married.
Galina also told Tori that Ilia really loved her hair down, so they thought maybe a partial up do and leave the rest long.
Final after an hour of playing with Galina's hair, Tori had found the perfect combination and then had her cousin look in the mirror. It was absolutely stunning! Galina couldn't believe how beautiful her hair looked!
"That's it!" Galina yelled. She was so excited about everything she couldn't stand it. So once they figured that out, Tori was very careful in taking it all down because they did not want Ilia to see how here hair was going to be done.
"Hey" Tori said. "I didn't even ask you about a cake." Galina shook her head no. "Ilia and I don't want a cake. I mean it's just going to be us, the priest and you and Max. Besides, he already said after the ceremony he wants no delays in going to the cottage.
Tori, I can't tell you how grateful I was to find out that you are my cousin. When Irina was murdered I thought that all my family was gone but when Ilia told me that you were my blood family I couldn't have been more excited. And it means the world to me to have you stand up for me and I hope that I can return the favor to you some day as well."
The two women hugged and teared up and then Tori said no more crying that it would mess up her face before she could get the makeup on. Laughing, Galina sat back down and watched her cousin go to work. When she was done, it looked like the work of a professional! It was that good!
Once all of that was done, Tori asked Galina if she would like to come and see the chapel. This, of course, excited Galina more than anything. So the two women took off on foot out the back of the mansion, down a small path and just a few feet further Galina saw the building.
"Oh my gosh!" she said when she saw it. It was small, and the outside was covered in cobblestone, an arch way front door and there was ivy growing all along the outside of it. It couldn't have been anymore perfect than if it had been designed for them both.
When they walked in, Tori had decorated the small aisle with huge candles and on the first four pews, on either side, she had decorated with beautiful salmon and coral colored flowers. There was a small metal arch that she had covered in vines and the same colored flowers that were on the pews.
Galina was speechless at all that Tori had gotten done in such a short time. She just threw her arms around her cousin and wept. When they had looked at everything, they headed back to the house as the sky was already starting to turn dusky.
She would spend the night away from Ilia tonight and spend the night with Tori and the next time that she would see Ilia would be right as she walked down the aisle to become Mrs. Galina Savin.
