"Yeah?" I called back getting nervous.
"Where are you??" He called back. He sounded like he was in the back yard.
"Jacob go inside!" I whispered. He nodded and I made him take the blanket so he wouldn't get the house wet when he went inside. He ran inside with the towel and just a couple seconds before Adam walked around the house to see me.
He stopped when he saw that I was soaking wet. "Whyyyyyyyy are you wet??"
"I went for a swim genius." I said sassily.
"From the rocks? Why didn't you just go to the beach down the road?" He questioned.
"I did, you guys were in the back years so you didn't notice!" I lied.
"Okay, then why are you in your clothes?"
"Uh, because I got down there and I realized I forgot my suit but I didn't feel like walking back to get it, so I jumped in like this." I said hoping he would believe me.
He just raised his eyebrows. "Really?"
"Ok ok it was a dare geeze!" I said rolling my eyes.
"By who??" Adam asked annoyance in his tone.
Jacob's POV
I was in Skylar's room with the door closed watching and listening to their conversation from her window. That's not creepy, right? (AN 😂😂 yea Jacob, it is.)
Well anyway I just wanted to know when Skylar would be coming back in, and I also wanted to know what the deal was with her brothers. It's fine if they don't like me, I get that. I just don't know what I did that they hate so much about me? Do they think I'm annoying? Maybe too flirty? I get that, I mean it's cool. I just feel bad for Skylar. She's so afraid of getting made fun of for who she wants to hang out with. Why should they care?
I heard Skylar says that she was dared to explain herself. Was she going to say it was me? Will he be mean to her for it?
"Courtney." She said.

Skaylar's POV
"Courtney dared you to?" Adam questioned, still confused.
"YES. Now would you leave me ALONE I AM DRIPPING WET AND I'M COLD. COURTNEY AND I WERE PLAYING TRUTH OR DARE. I TOOK THE DARE AND SHE DARED ME TO JUMP IN THE WATER IN MY CLOTHES. THEN I PULLED COURTNEY IN WITH ME AND SHE'S INSIDE CHANGING INTO DRY CLOTHES LIKE I SHOULD BE DOING RIGHT NOW. AND NO YOU CAN'T TALK TO HER. NOW IF YOU'LL EXCUES ME I'LL BE ON MY WAY." I said like a savage leaving Adam standing there with his mouth hanging open.
Jacob's POV
Woah. Skylar just TRASHED her brother! I had no idea she was so fierce!
Skylar's POV
I walked into my the upstairs bathroom and locked the door. Then I dried off with a towel, and changed into my sweats that I had left here earlier.
I walked into my room. And saw that Jacob had already gotten changed into a dry pair of clothes. He stared at me. "What?" I said looking at him.
"You just trashed your brother!!" He said impressed.
I laughed. "Yeah well, he should've left me alone!" I said smirking.
Jacob held up his hands in surrender, "Remind me to stay on your good side!"
We both stared laughing.
Then I had this weird feeling. I think I actually, love Jacob.
