"So where were we?" Jacob asked walking up to me.
"E-excuse me?" I said stepping back a little.
What is he doing?? He's freaking me out. Then Jacob sat down back where we had been sitting when we were going laying truth or dare. He grabbed his popcorn bowl and threw a price in his mouth. Then looked up at me. "Skylar are you okay, you look kinda, I donno-"
I cut him off, "Yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking." I joined him on the floor and ate some of my own popcorn. "Ok, I ask now!" I said happily.
"K, truth or dare?" I said trying in vain to catch a piece of popcorn into my mouth. I caught it clumsily in my arm tucked against my side. I stayed frozen in my position and looked at Jacob who had been watching my little act. We both laughed.
"Whatever," I said popping the saved piece in my mouth. "Just pick one, truth or dare??"
"Ok!" Jacob said still laughing a little. "Truth!"
"Truth?" I repeated. "Okay, lemme think." I said as I continued stuffing popcorn in my face. (AN 😂😂🍿👌)
What should I ask Jacob? Not something too personal, right? I mean that would probably just ruin it.
"Uh..." I thought aloud. "Have you ever had a girlfriend before?" I asked hoping that wasn't too weird.
Jacob smiled. Oh my gosh I love that smile so much!!!
"No." He said completely fine with it. "I've just never been that close to a girl who I really liked like that." He said then I thought I heard him say something under breath. I could've sworn he said: "until now."
"What'd you say?" I asked extremely curious.
"Nothing, I just answered your question. The answer is no." He said laughing.
How does he just radiate happiness?? I guess I majorly zoned out while I was daydreaming about the person sitting in front of me.
"Huh?" I said getting shaken out of my thoughts. (AN not literally people. 😂)
Jacob laughed and I blushed. "Seems like you have a lot to think about today!"
I turned red with embarrassment when he reminded me of my previous excuse.
"Anything you want to talk about?" Jacob asked.
