Tear In My Heart - Twenty One Pilots (Tomorrow For Today cover, because these girls are incredibly talented and they deserve a lot more recognition.)
"Well," Will said, appearing behind me as Riley and Sutton got their pictures taken, "that was unexpected."
"Indeed," I nodded, smiling as I watched them. They looked so happy.
"Did it break your heart? Watching your ex-boyfriend marry someone else?" he whispered behind me. When I spun around to face him I could see the amusement in his eyes.
"First of all he was never my real boyfriend and secondly, I've told you before that I have absolutely no lingering feelings for him.
"Glad to hear it," he smirked.
"Can I have the maid of honour and best man please?" the photographer called.
"That would be me," I smiled awkwardly at Will before walking over to the photographer.
"You know what they say about the maid of honour and the best man, don't you?" Isaac asked me as I joined him in front of the photographer.
"No, and I don't think I want to know," I rolled my eyes before smiling as a flash went off.
"Can you put your arm around her buddy?" the photographer asked of Isaac. I held my breath as he placed his hand on my hip. He was barely touching me and I knew he was trying to be considerate of my feelings, but it still made panic rise inside my chest. I tried to smile as the flash went off but I'm sure it must have looked more like a grimace.
"Well usually, by the end of the night the maid of honour feels so alone because her best friend has gotten married and she hasn't that she turns to the best man for a certain kind of comfort," he winked at me.
"Unfortunately for you Isaac, I'm only eighteen and I don't feel the crushing weight on a lonely future quite yet, maybe in a couple more years," I stepped away from him.
"I will hold you in my arms by the end of the night Malia," he smirked at me. I just shook my head and began walking away.
"I meant that we're going to dance, get your head out of the gutter," I heard him laugh behind me.
"He's showing more interest than usual," Peter approached me and nodded towards Isaac.
"Its weddings. They make people crazy," I rolled my eyes.
"They make people sentimental. Maybe you might just admit your feelings for a certain someone tonight," he grinned at me.
"Maybe you'll do that same!" I teased him.
"He looked jealous, you know," Peter told me quietly.
"What?" I wanted him to be talking about Will, but it didn't seem likely to me.
"When you were standing with Isaac at the alter, and just now. He actually looked about ready to kill when Isaac has his hand on your waist," he told me, looking over to where Will was tightening Dex's tie like Dex was a toddler and he was the exasperated father.
"It wouldn't matter if he was jealous or not and you know that," I said to him quietly.
"Yeah I know, I just wish it didn't have to be that way.

Apparently we arrived to the party late and we had missed the drama with Sutton's family, By the time we arrived her mother was already on her fourth glass of wine but was feeling a lot better about the fact her daughter got married without telling her. Apparently we just had to stop for ice cream, according to Emma.
