The Girl Who Cried Wolf - 5SOS (I can't find this on YouTube but it's great and you should listen to it because it describes Malia and Will's situation so well!)

"On second thought, I'll think I'll have a tequila," I croaked, my heart suddenly beating faster than a rock and roll drummer.

"I'm guessing he's somebody you don't want to see," the bar man deduced as he poured a shot for me.

The complete opposite actually. I really wanted to see him, but I didn't want to want to see him.

I took the shot back quickly, letting it slide down my throat and warm my chest. The bar man looked at me with a slightly pained expression, holding out a slice of lime for me.

I took it off of him and let it neutralise the strong flavour.

"Is that really a good idea?" A deep, husky voice asked, close to my ear.

I jumped back about a metre at how close Will was to me. I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest.

I'm not sure whether it was the alcohol, but he looked amazing. He was wearing a button down white shirt and black skinny jeans and he towered above pretty much everyone in the club.

"Why are you here?" I exclaimed, placing my hand on my chest, over my rapidly beating heart. His eyes followed my hand and lingered a while before coming back up to meet my eyes.

"I came with the boys, I didn't realise you would be here, I promise," he told me, sounding genuine.

"Oh," was all I could muster up.

"Although I'm not going to lie and say I'm not glad we ran into you. Someone has to watch over you," he shoved his hands roughly into his pocket.

"Excuse me? I'm entirely capable of looking after myself Memory. I was doing doing it before you came along and I can continue doing it now you're gone," I huffed angrily.

"Sure! That's why you're drinking, wearing revealing clothes and dancing provocatively. Oh let's not forget to mention flirting with a bar man. You're acting recklessly tonight Malia. Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't have fun, that's all I want for you, I'm just saying you should at least have someone around to look out for you."

I stared at him a little shocked for a minute before I could form any words.

"Listen here Memory! I already have a mother at home who likes to think I'm some fragile little china doll, I don't need you to look at me like I'm going to break too. I've been looking out for myself and for everyone else for years. I'm sick of constantly looking over my shoulder for someone who's probably not even there," I all but yelled at him.

"So what you're trying to say is that you no longer care about your safety?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

I sighed, he couldn't possibly understand. If anything happened to me the world would go on, but if anything happened to anyone else because of me, the world would stop spinning for me.

"I just wanted to forget about everything for one night," I sighed at him before turning and heading back into the crowd.

Emma waved me over to where the boys had joined our small group on the dance floor. Dex, Isaac, Riley and Marc had joined the party and Dex was really going for it.
