Good to See You

I ran to my car and drove as fast as I could home. I threw the front door opened and slammed it shut.

"Wow you seem upset." Hayes stated holding Hazel close to him.

"You have no idea." I snapped and ran to my room wanting to bury myself in covers. I felt like I had no privacy with 4 other people in this house. I mean it wasn't the worst thing in the world but it defiantly was a little annoying. I slowly opened the door hoping Shawn would pop out and surprise me. I knew that wouldn't happen though. I closed the door.

"SURPRISE!"

"Autumn? What are you doing here?"

"I transferred to the University of Wisconsin!"

"YES! I AM SO HAPPY!" We hugged because of our excitement. I was going to have a friend in college. I was beyond excited!

"Oh tomorrow I have to work. Do you want to join me?"

"Ya sure! What do you do?" Her smile spread the more we talked.

"Walk dogs."

"I am not to good with dogs."

"It's ok! I will help you. Tomorrow we are going to the Hemmings house."

"Wait like Luke Hemmings?" I dropped my head to my chest remembering the guy I met yesterday. I dreaded the thought of going to his house.

"I will take that as a yes. Wait where is Teddy?"

"Oh I had to leave him but I was planning on heading back up to get him some time soon."

"I want to come with whenever you do!"

"Where are you staying?"

"Oh I haven't figured that out yet."

"I have a great idea! I am going to make the basement your bedroom/living space. There is a door down there that has a path to the driveway."

"I don't know about that."

"Well I'm already planning it in my head even if you don't want to live there. After work we are going to see how much money we have and then go shopping!"

"Ok, I am gonna crash on the couch for now. Let's just hope that the two couples in this house keep it down because I am not in the mood to here all of there lovey doveyness."

"Trust me, you get used to it."

"Easy for you to say! You have a boyfriend or did you already forget about Shawn?"

"Of course I haven't! I think about him every second."

She gave me a soft smile before leaving my room. I went to the bathroom and got ready. I ran to bed and pulled out my phone. I was getting a FaceTime call from Shawn.

"Hey Sam" His eyes were half open.

"Aw Shawn you look so tired." He just smiled in response. "I look like a potato right now ugh!"

"No you don't! You are so freaking cute with your glasses and a messy bun." I felt my cheeks become bright red.

"I miss you Shawn."

"I miss you so much. I wish you were with me."

"I know me too but I just got a summer job walking dogs!"

"Please don't tell me there are boys who work there too."

"Of course there is but your the only one for me."

"I love you."

"I love you more!" I could tell Shawn was falling asleep so I made him go to bed.

I rested my head on the pillow and stared at the ceiling. How was I so lucky? I had the best of friends and the best boyfriend in the entire world. I don't think I could be any happier right now. Well maybe if Shawn was next to me. I decided to turn on the tv and watch One Tree Hill. After I finished the Walking Dead I decided to watch OTH because it seemed interesting and believe me, it really is. I watch it all the time now.

I woke up to a wet kiss. I opened one eye and saw Teddy.

"How did you get here!" I rubbed his belly and gave him a big kiss on his nose.

"We realized how lonely you seemed so when you fell asleep we pulled an all nighter and got Teddy." Hazel replied. I was smiling so big by this point.

"OMG are you crying?" Addison asked with a laugh.

"NO!" Tears were streaming down my face which made everyone laugh, including me. I thought of my 17th birthday and when Shawn and I were an almost couple. This was the best gift of my life.

"Are you ready to go to work?" Autumn said sounded overly excited.

"Um give me 5 minutes and then we can go okay?" She nodded her head and ran out of my room, probably to get ready. I couldn't wait for work to be over already so we could go and redesign the basement.
