Cates P.O.V

There lying in a hospital bed is a woman that looks nothing like my mum. This woman has stitches on her face, arms, legs and she has bruising all over. Her arm and leg and in casts and she looks in pain. She looks nothing like my mother. This woman looks like all the happiness and life was sucked out if her and replaced with empty space.

I fall to my knees and burst into tears that i thought i didn't have. I hold my head in my hands and all I can think about is, is she going to live? A vibration goes off in my pocket and I know it's Harry. I wipe the tears covering my puffy, red eyes away and reach into my pocket.

*Harry - Cate what happened? Which hospital are you in? Are you ok? God Cate please answer me.*

*Cate - Harry calm down it wasnt me who was hurt.... it was my mum. im so scared please come.*

I text him the hospital address and get up off my knees and slump into the chair next to my mums bed. How could this have happened to her? She has done nothing to anyone to deserve this.

* 1 hour later *

I pry my eyes open at the sound of the foot opening. I lift my head off my mums bed. I must have fallen asleep. A man is standing in the door way and he is holding a huge bunch of flowers in one hand and in the other there is a box if chocolates and tucked under his arm is a giant teddy bear. As he comes closer i realize the man is Harry. He is wearing his normal black skinny jeans and black t-shirt. Just the sight if him makes me burt into tears. He drops the flowers and chocolates and teddy bear and rushes over to me.

"Shh Cate its ok, its ok, its ok, im here for you don't worry." harry whispers into my ears smoothly. He lifts me from the chair and places me onto his lap and cradles me like a baby and rocks back and forth slowly. I try to control my tears but they just continue to stream out of my tears.

Harry starts to sing a song that i have never heard before.....

I figured it out

I can slowly feel myself slipping away. The scary, dark hospital room is fading as my eye lids droop down. All I can hear is Harrys angelic voice finishing the beautiful song and the soft thumping of his heart as I fall into a deep dark sleep in Harrys warm arms.

I'm so sorry that this has literally taken months to update this book :( I kinda got bored with writing this story because I could never find anytime to right it but know I thought I might as well start it up again :) haha Im sorry and I will be updating more I promise :) :) :) I hope everyone enjoys my book and this chapter and yeah hahah hope all ur lives are going alright and if anyone has anything they want to get off their chest or if u just need someone to talk to just message me and will respond I promise :) I wont judge so don't worry!!
