Chapter 14

Zoe POV
Everyone entered our house and sat on the sofas.
"So what do you all wanna do today?" I asked.
"Well we haven't been anywhere around here so we will do anything" Ethan answered for Grayson and himself. Grayson nods.
"Okay how about we all travel down to Brighton and go to the beach and stuff" Alfie asked. We all nod.
It takes around two hours to get to Brighton so we will get there around five o'clock. By then we would barely have any time to do anything. Alfie said that his parents are out of town for a couple of days so we could all stay there for the night.
Once we were all ready, we hopped in the car and drove down to Brighton. I was driving, Alfie called shotgun and sat in the front with me, then in the back there was Grayson, Ethan and Louise.
Joe was driving the other car with Conor, Jack and Oli.
The car ride consisted of singing along to music and small talk.
When we finally arrived at Brighton we decided to drive to Alfie's so everyone could drop off our  stuff since we are staying the night.
"Thanks for letting us stay with you Alfie" I say giving him a hug. He hugged back and it lasted a while.
"No problem little one" Alfie replied. I loved it when he called me that. I looked up at him and he looked down staring in to my eyes. Soon after, Alfie started to lean in and I found myself doing the same. We kissed. Wait what?! Then my head started filling with questions. Does Alfie like me? Do I like Alfie? What if it was just a spur of the moment thing? What if we have ruined our friendship and made it awkward?
It was definitely awkward.
"Maybe we should get back into the other room. The guys will be wondering where we are" I say. Alfie nods and we go back.
"So today should we just watch movies and tomorrow we will go to the beach?" Joe asked. It's too late to go to the beach now. It would be too cold and the tide would most likely be in. We all nod.
"Can we watch The Conjuring?" Conor asked. Everyone agreed. I nodded but I was pretty scared. I love watching horrors but I do get scared I must admit.
"You will be okay Little one. I'm here" Alfie said. Everyone heard.
"Awwww has Alfie got a crush?" Louise asked. I knew this would happen.
Alfie blushed but soon after he gave Louise an over dramatic death glare which made all of us burst into hysterics.
We began watching the movie and I felt Alfie pull me close to him and kiss the top of my head. I really think I'm starting to get feelings for Alfie.
By the end of the movie everyone is asleep except for me and Alfie.
"Can you please help me get some blankets to cover this lot in?" Alfie asked. I nodded. We went to get blankets and covered everyone in them. Soon after Alfie and I went back to our original position of us cuddling into each other  when Alfie spoke up.
"Zoe can I tell you something that had been on my mind for a while?" He asked. Now I'm nervous! I nod
"Okay, I have been developing these feelings for you over the past few weeks. Then when we kissed earlier I felt sparks that I have never felt before. Zoe I really like you" he admitted. That explains a lot.
I feel myself start to tear up a little but I wipe it away before he sees.
"I like you too Alfie" I say smiling and blushing.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Alfie asks. Wow. I screamed internally.
"Yes" I reply. We smiled and hugged each other. And with that we fell asleep.
