Chapter 34

Grayson's POV

Today Ethan and I are meeting up with Zoe and Alfie. Ethan decides to wake me up by pouring water all over my head. Trust him! 

I shower and change into some casual clothes. Ethan does the same. We start the day with breakfast at our hotel then we take our skateboards along near Brighton beach. As we were skating Ethan got a text from Zoe:

Z- What time do you guys wanna hang out today?

E- Whenever you guys are ready.

Z- Great, well Alfie is ready so you guys can come to his house. I am over here too but I am in the middle of getting changed.

E- Okay, we'll be over soon.

Zoe's POV

"Are you nearly ready?" Alfie asks as I am finishing off my makeup.

"Nearly" I reply.

I get changed into a tee that says 'just say yes' which is my life motto. I also wear some navy blue skinny jeans and some black ankle boots.

I put my hair up into two french braids and walk downstairs to see Ethan, Grayson and Alfie watching TV.

"Hey guys!" I shout excitedly, making them jump slightly.

"Hey Zo" They say as I pull them in for a hug. 

"So what are we doing today?" I ask.

"I was thinking we could take a trip to the cinema then go to Nandos or something" Alfie said.

"Yeah, that sounds cool" we all agree.

We leave the house and hop into the car. We arrive at the cinema and have a look at what we can watch. 

"We could watch the new Disney movie 'Moana'" I say excitedly jumping up and down. I have a bit of an obsession for Disney movies! 

"Yasss!" Grayson says. Aha, I guess he has an obsession too!

We buy the tickets to watch the movie and enter the room. We take the seats at the back (it's, by far, the best seats in any cinema). We watch the movie and sing along to the songs which get stuck in our heads almost immediately. 

We get out of the cinema and head straight over to Nandos. We order our lunch and make small talk. We talk about the Dolan twins life in America and things like that.

After we ate our lunch, we decided to go to the beach.

"The water isn't as warm as America" Grayson says. I laugh.

"Yeah, just a little colder" I laugh.

We spent the rest of the day at the beach, eating ice-cream and playing in the cold sea and sand.

"I've had a great day, thank you so much" Ethan and Grayson said, hugging both me and Alfie.

"No problem, it was great seeing you guys again" Alfie said and I agreed.

They left to go back to their hotel.

"Could we go back to yours to get my bags and then go to mine. You can stay over if you like" I say.

"Yeah, I'd love to" He replies. I smile and we head back.

"Wanna make a YouTube video for my channel?" Alfie asked. I nodded. He decided that he wanted to do a 'try not to laugh challenge'. We failed... miserably.

We made a cake with strawberries on the top. It looked amazing (don't judge... I'm hungry aha).

The rest of the night we watched a couple of episodes of Stranger Things and fell asleep.

We woke up to a phone call at 2:30 in the morning. 

"Hello?" Alfie said.

"Oh my gosh, are they okay?" He panics.

"Yes, we'll be right there" He hangs up the phone and wakes everyone up.

"Alfie, what's going on?" I ask urgently. 

"Poppy and Sean were on their way home in the car and a car behind them crashed into them. They are at the hospital now, we need to go." He says quickly.

Me, Alfie and his parents head over to the hospital. We see Poppy and Sean lying unconscious in the beds. 

"Oh my gosh." Alfie says with a tear running down his face as he sees his best friend and his sister lying in front of him.

"Poppy has a crack in her rib cage but it should be okay in a few weeks. She also has a head injury but it isn't serious. It's just off when she bashed her head against the dashboard. Sean has a broken arm and also has a head injury, I'm presuming, for the same reason. They will both be okay and should be waking up within a day or so" The doctor explains.

"Okay, thank you" Alfie's mother said to the doctor.

We all spend the rest of the night in the hospital, waiting for Poppy and Sean to awaken.
