Alfie POV
We began watching Stranger things and I could tell that Zoe was scared as she had around 95% of her body under the blanket. I put my arm around her and she thanked me. Don't worry. The feeling is completely mutual. We don't like each other in a romantic sense. Just friends.
Half way through the second episode of 'Stranger Things' I looked over to Joe and he had his arm wrapped around Louise. They looked cute together. I wonder if they like each other...
"Wouldn't those two look so cute together?" I whisper to Zoe.
"They certainly would." Zoe smiled up at me. I nodded and smiled.
I hope they end up together.
Louise POV
What's happening to me?! One minute I'm 'of course the feeling is mutual. Me and Joe are only going to be friends' but then he unleashes his charm and his smile, his voice, his eyes, his everything and my whole perspective changes. Do I like Joe? I decided to text Zoe even though we were in the same room but I didn't wanna draw attention to me.
L- Zoe, I'm really confused... I don't know what to do! Help? Xx
Zoe's text tone sounded and she looked at her phone then glanced towards me.
Z- sure chummy. What's up? Xx
L- one minute I'm like 'oh me and Joe are only gonna be friends' then he unleashed his smile, charm...Everything and now I'm just confused! Xx
Z- hold up hold up hold up,.. So you like Joe?! Xx
L- Do I??!! Xx
Z- you do!!! You need to talk to him! Xx
L- okay I'll try xx
"Joe" I say confidently. He looks over at me with a smile
"Yeah?"
"Can I talk to you in the other room for a sec?" I ask and he nods worriedly.
We walk into the kitchen and I begin talking.
" I have... Recently been getting these thoughts- and an awful lot of feelings" I struggle to say. I continue.
"And I feel like I have no choice but to tell you. So here it is..." I pause.
"Joe... I like you. A lot" I finish. Joe stares for about 30 seconds in shock. Then he begins to speak
"I feel the same way..." He says. What a relief!
"Louise will you be my girlfriend?"
