Billion Dollar Jerk

|Chapter 9|

"Ria do you think I look ok ? or should I change outfits" Elena asks.

"Yeah, I think you look great . I just need to get some
shoes on" I tell her.

"Sure, just meet me outside then. I really need to warm up the car because I haven't driven it the entire weekend" she tells me.

I get upstairs and head straight to my room. I contemplate on wearing slippers but I just end up going with my sneakers.

I look in the mirror at my reflection trying to decide whether or not to wear makeup.

My face is quite pale because I spend the rest of my days indoors,my natural pink lips are still as full of ever.

My hair is still in the messy bun I put it in earlier, but I decide against wearing makeup because I think it's good to go natural sometimes.

I grab my black shoulder sling bag and walk downstairs only to realize when I got to the front door that I had forgotten my phone in my room.

I speedily head up the stairs and back to my room to get.

When I get there it's on my nightstand and with that I head downstairs and out the front door.

Elena is in her White Mercedes convertible with her shades on and the roof down when I walk to the passenger side.

"That took long enough" she comments while I'm wearing my seatbelt.

"Sorry I forgot my phone so I had to go back and get it" I explain.

"It's ok...I'm not mad" she says.

"You might want to put your shades on it's a sunny day"she says to me when we are ten minutes away from the house.

"I think your right and nice pun by the way"I giggle.

"Thanks"she smiles

I open my bag to to get my shades on and when their on I bring my phone out to check if I have any messages and I find I don't have any so I put it back in my bag and find that I have a pack of bubble gum in it.

"Gum", I offer my best friend

"Sure ,why not thanks though " she says taking two sticks.

Me being the gum lover I am ,I open one ,then another then two more after that. After approximately twenty minutes we arrive at the mall.

"I know I said we were going makeup shopping but do you mind if we stop by lush"she sheepishly asks when we get out of the car.

"Why?" interrogate with an eye roll.

"Uh,because their stuff smells nice"she says as though it is the most obvious thing in the world.

"I wouldn't know what their stuff smells like, because I use regular soap,lotion,shampoo and lip balm "I remind her.

"Yeah ,that's the reason you should try it. Now come on!"she says pulling me by the arm into the mall.

I allow her to pull me by the arm as I try to catch up to the pace she's speed walking at because it's the first time I've been to this mall ever since I moved here with her about a month ago.
