{Maria's P.O.V}
I walk to the Uniform rooms at the back section of the restaurant and knock on the door.
"Come in "a voice answers. I open the door to see Kimberly slouching on her chair, while she's on her phone with her feet on the top of her desk next to the brown register book.
"Hey hey"I'm greeted by a kim chewing and popping gum this early in the morning.
"Morning"
"So let me tick you off on the register. What time did you get here?"
"Well, right about six thirty".
"Ok, cool your locker is locker number 17 towards the left and here is the key you could take it home with you or leave it here and get it every morning when you arrive".
"That's great, thanks alot Kim".
"Sure thing girl no prob. So let me get your uinform I showed you yesterday. Your a size small right?"She asks standing to her feet and heada to the shelves
"Yeah, but I actually prefer wearing a medium".
"What?! Why?! If I had a bod like yours I would definitely show it off honey" she says while chewing.
"I don't know I just don't want to draw unnecessary attention to myself ".
"Ok girl sure"she says
I go and get dressed in the dressing stall. The shirt is a little above mid thigh and I slip on my black jeggins.
I put my hair in a ponytail and leave the stall.
"Do I take the uniform home after my shift?" I ask Kim
"Well you could if you really wanted, but most people prefer to leave it here .Dry cleaners come by after shifts and get them".
"Cool, thanks kimmy. And where do I get my name tag?"
"Well, Donovan said it'll be ready today so let me introduce you guys. Come with me."
I follow her to another room not too far from hers. The door says storage management. Kim Knocks on the door and it opens revealing a raven haired man.
"Hey guys" He greets us.
"Hey" me and Kim say in sync and look at each other and giggle before looking at the man again.
"You must be Maria I've heard quite alot about you over the few hours you've been here. I'm Donovan but it'll be better if you just called me Don" he says extending his hand to me.
"All good things I hope"I say shaking his hand.
"Of course people here adore you already".
"Ok, now that you two have exchanged pleasantries Maria would really like to have her identity tag now"Kim says.
"Ok come in Maria" Donovan says
"See you guys later" Kim says taking off.
I walk into the office and i see alot more shelves in here compared to Kim's office and alot of boxes and a desk with a little box with keys and tags in it.
"Here's yours Maria" he says after pulling it out of the box. "You will have to return it when your shift is over for safe keeping and get it every morning ".
"Thanks Don" I say after admiring the pretty gold and black tag with my name on it".
"No problem.Have a nice day Maria"
"Have a nice day Don".With that I leave his office and head to the kitchen.
"Girrrl! You look awsome now your officially a Valshée " Marcia says excitedly clapping her hand together before engulfing me in a hug.
"Yeah" I say with a big smile on my face."Can't breathe"I says as she tightens her grip around me.
"Sorry, I'm just so exited to have you officially working with me" she says letting go of me.

My day was actually very good. It went way better than i had anticipated although, I got a little self conscious and nervous when I had to serve a middle aged man who requested for private seating.
He was actually the last person I had to serve before my shift came to an end and boy did he leave me a good tip. Who gives $250 dollars as a tip? I for one would not.
"Ready to go now Ria?" Marcia asks.
"Yeah,let me just get changed and I'll catch you later"
"Ok,but don't be too long" she says as I walk to the Uniform rooms.
I open the door and Kimberly is standing by her table talking on the phone.
I extend a smile to her not wanting to interrupt her seeing she on the phone that she returns to cheerfully.
I head to my locker and get my clothes before entering a stall to get changed before Kim speaks
"Sooo! How did the day go and how would you rate from 1-10?"
"It was pretty good, I totally enjoyed the day and I think I'll rate it 6 out of 10".
I come out of the stall and say goodbye to Kim before going to find Marcia.
"It took you long enough" Marcia says to me as I get into the passenger side of her car.
"I'm sorry, I met up with Kim in the uniform room it is her office after all".
"True, so how do you find her? Well I think she's generally a nice girl but I wonder about her at times and did you know she's Nick's sister?"
"Well, I thinks she's great. She sure loves gum; she's forever chewing" I say smiling and Marcia laughs.
"True, she has such nice teeth though and I wonder how that's even possible".
"Yeah,I actually found out she was Nico' s sister during our conversation earlier today" I say answering her question from before.
"SOOO...what do think about Nicholas?" Marcia asks and I turn my gaze from my phone to her.
"I think he's ok, I really like him, he's pretty nice."
"Of course you do" she says wriggling her brows at me.
"WAIT! WHAT! NO! not like that I mean he's a really nice guy and I like him as a friend.
"OKAYY..it's just the way he looks at you, I think he may have feelings for you. Like he even let you call him Nico a name that he reserved for his girlfriend or whatever" She tells me.
"Wait, so he has a girlfriend?".
"No, he had one."
"Had one? what do you mean? Did they break up or something?"
"Well it's sort of complicated, he lost her."
"What do you mean? Did he cheat on her or something?"
"No. Worse like he lost her forever. Like she passed away".
"WHAT! OH MY! shame that's so sad. What happened?
"I don't really know that's as far as he is willing to tell anyone. He doesn't really talk about his past with Tatiana".
"Really, It must be deep and so hurtful for him not to want to talk about it".
"Yeah, it sure is. God help anyone that Speaks on the topic or mentions her name even worse calls him 'Nico'.
"That bad huh, how does he react?"
"Yeah, well he gets aggressive and very, VERY, sensitive."
"Gosh, poor Nick."
"Yeah, You know your the first he's ever let call him 'Nico'. According to Kim, Tatiana was the first to ever call him that. He never let anyone not even their Mom.
"Wow, I'm honoured, but I wonder why though. What is his reason. He barely even knows me."
"That's why I think he may have feelings for you. Do you like him even a little? because I think it's time for you to get a boyfriend".
"I don't know if I like him in that way or not".
