Billion Dollar Jerk

The walk to Joey's wasn't a long one.I put my earphones in my ears and listened to music my entire way there.

I get inside and the little bell above the door rings indicating that someone had just entered.

what I first noticed was that,there weren't many people and I felt like the place was being closed down.

I didn't even ask questions about why the store was so empty because none of the workers at the tills even noticed my entry into the store anyway, even with the bell that rang at my entry .

I quickly go to the medicine isle first to get Elena some Advil so I don't forget, because I have to buy a lot of groceries since everyone will be staying at Elena's for the time being.

After I'm done with the medicine isle I go straight to the food isle and get a crate of eggs, four packs of bacon,two boxes of pancake mix,three packs of fish fingers and two loafs of bread.

I head to the dairy products isle and get milk and cheese and I go get other items that i think is needed in the house.

As I pass by the hardware isle to get to the till to pay for everything,I bumped into something and my phone fell to the ground because of the force and so did I.

This brought me back to reality. I zoned out due to the music I was listening to.

I pick up my phone and luckily for me it is not one of those sensitive smart phones that the screen cracks when it falls to the ground .

I wonder how it hasn't broken yet seeing as I've had it for so long now.

I've had this phone for seven years now it's still really useful even though it can't do any of the fancy things all these smart phones of nowadays do like the touch screen,biometric scanners and all that jazz...

I look up to see what caused my fall and it is guy in a plain white shirt,grey joggers and a pair of black Air Forces with dark brown hair holding a trolley shooting daggers at me with his brown eyes.

It took some time for it to register in my brain that the guy is Mr.Bradley Morganstein.

He looks really attractive in his casual attire,after seeing him for the first time in his element (his work/company)Looking so professional and all it was hard to picture him in casual clothes.

I think it also took him some time for him to realize that it was me who bumped into him because his intense impassive stare turned into a deep scowl.

"Watch where your going! He says in a low tone but with a deep voice and with so much authority.

"Oh! and it's you again!"

"can't you see that this store is closed Down for my private shopping access?

"I'm sorry sir,I did wonder why the store was so empty but I wasn't expecting it to be closed down for your private access.

This is the first time I've ever witnessed such a thing happening I say standing up to my feet and dusting myself off with no help from the rude man.

"I see your not only incompetent your also an absentminded klutz bumping into a person while listening to music on full blast "

"This is one of the reasons why you will never get the job as my P.A or any good and reasonable and well paying job at that" he rudely states.

"With all due respect sir I'm not here to argue ".

"I know I've got what it takes to be your P.A and if I don't get the job it will not be the end of the world for me".
