The ride to Elena's wasn't that long after our conversation. We get there and Marcia comes in to see Elena.
"Ellie! I'm back with Marcia"
I don't get a response, so I go to the kitchen for a glass of water while Marcia goes upstairs to look for her.
After I'm done I go up the stairs and I find Marcia by the railings with a shocked,frozen and distraught expression.
"What's the matter? I ask and she doesn't respond she just points towards Elena's room.
I decide to got check and with Marcia behind me. We get to her door and as I'm about to knock I freeze as I here her moan.
I put my hand over my mouth to muffle my giggle. I look at Marcia and she still looks shocked but I feel like she know something I don't.
My expression changes as i hear my bestfriend moan"Ooh! Jay! Harder! FUCK! ME! HARDER!"
My jaw drops and I look at Marcia who nods her head. I think i now have a similar expression to hers.
"O!M!G! Ria is it who i think it is?"
"Marcy it can't be, Jerome and Elena. They wouldn't. We are probably misunderstanding the whole situation it's probably another Jay. It could be a guy called Jason for all we know, from her work or something"I say to Marcia as we continue eavesdropping
"Jerome, it's gonna be hard for me to stay away from you and for us play this thing off if you keeping fucking me that good" Elena says a little too close to the door and I put my hand over my mouth again but this time because I'm shocked.
"I know babe. It's gonna be hard for me to see you and not be able to take you whenever".
"Let's get our of here" Marcy says grabbing my other hand.
We run down the stairs and out the the front door, into Marcia's car.
"WHAT! THE! FUCKING! HELL!" Marcia exclaims.
"I know right, this is so messed up why didn't they tell us? And would they tell us soon? They are best friends I mean we are all best friends for goodness sake".
"I had a feeling something was going on between them but I thought nothing much of it. I would lose my head if Precious and Marcus also start fucking each other behind our back aswell" she says.
"Yeah, that would be completely bent. Hey, do you remember how mad he got at Jamie for cheating on her. I know we got mad too but he seemed hurt aswell".
"Yes, and do you remember how sensitive and agressive he got when Precious asked Elena if she was ok that time" she reminds me
"Oh yeah! And do you see how extremely sweet he has been to her lately. I thought it was because of the jamie thing I had no idea it was because he had feelings for her".
"How could we have been so blind to see this. It all makes sense now" she says
"I only wonder how it started? when exactly? and where we were at the time".
"Me too. But what are we going to do now that we know? Should we confront them or tell Precious and Marcus".
"No I think we should play it cool and wait for them to come clean or for us to catch them in the act.Besides it's not our place to tell Precious or Marcus let them find out on their own".
"I think we should go in there and act oblivious" .
We go back into the house."Ellie,I'm back from work with Marcy!".
"Heyyy! It's been a long day, I got off early today and I've been bored so bored"she says running down the stairs and giving me a tight hugg.
"And you Marcy you've dropped off Ria everyday but you never came to see me it's cool i see how things are"she says turning towards her faking sadness.
"The thing is I've been busy and I couldn't wait I told Ria to tell you".
"Which I did by the way"I say.
"I know, I'm just kidding I totally understand, come here girlie"she says engulfing her in a huff.
"So what did you do today since your came home early?Did anything special happen" she asks Elena and my eyes widen before I nodge her by her side while Elena is still oblivious you me and Marcy' s little exchange .
"No, nothing interesting I just chilled before Jerome came over" she tells us.
"Oh,I see, so what did you guys do?" Marcy asks and I bite the interior of my cheek.
"Well we played poker and then we watched 'how to make love like an Englishman'.
"Cool" we both say to Elena.
"Ok, I'm gonna have to turn off the oven because I'm baking choc chip cookies"She says and goes into the kitchen.
"What the hell was that?!" I ask Marcia."I thought we agreed to let her come clean herself or catch them in the act"
"Relax she never caught on and besidesI was just trying to make it easier for her" she says.
"At least she admitted that he came to see her".
"Well obviously she'll tell us that, after all they are "friends".
"With benefits" I add and we both silently laugh.
"Bab-" Jerome says before he acknowledges our presence.
"I mean back already guys. Welcome back guys, How was your day?".
"It was like every other" Marcy replies.
"And yours Ria,How was your first day?"
"Well it was awsome I totally enjoyed the day"I tell him.
"Cool so have you seen Ellie?her phone was ringing plus I need to remind her about the cookies in the oven".
"Yeah, she's in the kitchen"I say and he nods his head and goes there.
"Did you here that?he was about to say babe or baby before he covered it up"Marcia gasps.
"Yes,I sure did if they want to hide their little secret I think they should be more careful"
"True"
"Are you staying overnight?" I ask.
"Why not? besides I'm feeling the cookies".
