Chapter 13

The ride on the motor bike was a short one. I was a little uncomfortable at the fact i had my hands so low down. I bet he intended this, as he knew i wouldn't move my hands for him to accuse me of feeling him up. But then again, he would probably tease me that i liked it, you know, having my hands so low down. I could honestly imaging his cocky and knowing grin that would have been plastered right across his cocky face.

We pulled up outside the Cooper residence about five minutes later. It was a lot faster on the bike since we could dodge through traffic and sneeak through red lights. I had to admitt, the thinng had it's perks, but being on the thing was the scariest thing I have ever had to do in my life. Well, I didn't have to do it, but my wreckless side was just urging me to do it and i couldn't refuse. Something was just screaming at me 'do it. do it. stop being a baby'. I just had to.. I knew i would pay, though. I certainly wouldn't hear the end of this from Aaron, but i wasn't should if I actually minded or not. It may have been a good thing.. but yet, it could have been a bad thing..

"Oh, my god." Aaron exclaimed, stiffling a laugh whilst pulling the helmet from my head. "You look like you've just seen a ghost!"

"What?" What was he talking about?

His face softened as he grabbed my hand and helped me get off the bike. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Oh, yeah. I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You look so pale."

"I probably just look like crap from last night." I mumbled. Riding on the bike had cleared my mind because of how fast it was going and how terrified i was, but now that it was stopped, everything came crashing back. "I'll get cleaned up in the bathroom before i give your mum a heart attack!" I laughed briefly, but I doubt I fooled him.

He smiled a half-hearted smile but it didn't reach his eyes. He wasn't acting like himself. What was wrong with him? Did I really look that bad?

"You know you can talk to me, right? About anything." I was about to nod my head but tell him i was fine and i didnt need to talk, but he averted his gaze to the ground. Confusion swept over me when i looked at him. He looked like a lost puppy and so cute! I just wanjted to wrap my arms around him and squeeze him in a huge cuddle! But I couldn't tell why he looked to sad.

"Are you okay, Aaron?"

He looked back up at me and his face was twisted and his lip slightly parted, as if he was in deep thought. "Of course." He paused for a minute before smiling and walked to the front door to his house after he had took the keys from the bike and stuck them in his jeans pocket.

When we were inside, it dawned on me that i was still wearing his leather jacket, that i had slept in this thing, but found it so comfy! I took a mental thought to get me one of these.

"Oh, Aaron." I muttered, taking off his jacket and handing it to him. "Here, I forgot about this."

HIs usual cocky grin appeared on his face and i had to admitt I was glad to see it. I thought I had lost him! "It's all rumpled. Have you been wearing this old thing since last night when I gave it to you?"
