Blake's POV

"What about the windshield wipers?" I asked.

Oli laughed, nervously. "Well um... we had a bit of an incident with those. Basically, Jordan got really drunk and him and Matt wanted to act out Star Wars, so they ripped off the windshield wipers and we never really got them back."

"We're fucked," Alan murmured as one barely pierced through the windshield.

"This way!" Oli got out of the drivers seat and went over to the window above the couch. He kicked it and it shattered. "I've always wanted to do that," he said as he began climbing out the window. Alan and I quickly followed after him.

Once we were all out, we ran as far as we could in the other direction. We were so lost.

"What the fuck are we supposed to do now? We're stuck in the middle of nowhere and we don't have a car," Alan pointed out. We were walking down the abandoned streets of some small town in Utah.

"I think New York is out of the question," Oli murmured, kicking some gravel.

"No shit," I replied.

"Oh my god, a weed store! Our prayers have been answered!" Alan enthused, running across the street to a beat up store with a picture of a marijuana leaf on the front. He knocked on the door and looked through the window.

"Alan, there's probably no-"

"Take it! Take everything!" Someone suddenly yelled, running out of the store. They had a shitload of facial hair and their eyes were completely bloodshot.

"Dude... are you ok?" Alan asked.

"We're all going to die anyway! Take it all!" The man suddenly ran to the middle of the road and fell face first on the gravel.

"Um..." Oli looked from me to Alan very awkwardly.

"Does that mean the weed is free?" Alan yelled to the man.

"It's under the cash register," the man murmured into the ground.

"Hell yeah!" Alan enthused, running into the store.

I was just about to go over to the man to see if he was ok and possibly try to talk him out of death, but suddenly a bug landed on the back of his neck, and I ran inside.

"This is literally the best day of my life," Alan said, pulling a huge stash of weed out from under the cash register. I slammed the door shut and locked it because I was a little too anxious right now.

Oli and Alan began rolling themselves a blunt because everything they needed was within arms reach.

"Blake's too pussy to smoke any," Alan said, putting the blunt up to his lips.

"What makes you think that?" I asked, leaning against the table. Mike was a total pothead, so I've smoked a few times in my life. It wasn't exactly an addiction, just a good stress reliever.

"You were a wimp in high school. People don't change that quickly," he murmured, blowing smoke into my face.

I grimaced and stole the blunt from him as I gladly blew smoke back in his face. "You'd be surprised."

God knows how bad my nightmares will be now that I'm stoned. I was almost too afraid to fall asleep because I was so worried about them.

"If I wasn't still mourning about my girlfriends death, I would totally bone you, just so you know," Oli said, staring at the ceiling. All three of us were currently lying on the floor, using some tye-dye pillows and blankets for a bed.

"I find your British accent a total turn on," I replied.

"I wouldn't mind watching," Alan added.

"That means Alan finds your British accent a turn on as well," I whispered.

"I'm going outside," Oli said, standing up.

"Ok... I hope you don't die," I murmured, cuddling into Alan's chest as my eyes slowly slid shut.

_______

Mike's lips travelled to my neck and he lightly sucked on the skin, causing me to moan.

There was a gleam in my eye as I pulled away and began making my way inside. "If you want more, we have to go inside."

"C'mon Blake, don't you want to be a little promiscuous?" Mike teased, quickly following me as his arms slipped around my waist.

"You're crazy," I whispered, turning so I was facing him. "But I wasn't planning on getting a mosquito bite on my vagina today."

He laughed. "But you-" he stopped talking as he got a weird expression on his face. "That's weird, I just-"

Suddenly he fell limply in my arms.

"Mike!" I screamed, laying him down on the patio. "Mike what's wrong?" I cried, tears forming in my eyes.

"Blake... I- I'm sorry," he choked before his eyes rolled back in his head and his body became lifeless.

"No!" I screamed, tears rolling down my cheeks as I frantically shook him. "No, no, no!" I kept repeating. I stared at the sky as a swarm of bugs flew towards me.

"No!" I screamed, shooting up from my spot on the floor. I put my head in my hands and began crying my heart out. I wouldn't mind having these stupid nightmares if they were all fake. What happened with Mike was all real, and I hated having to relive it every time I closed my eyes.

"Oh man... that was epic," Alan said as him and Oli came back inside. I looked up at them and they stared at me, awkwardly.

"Have another nightmare?" Oli asked.

I nodded in response.

"Well... I found us a car. Let's get out of here," Oli said, helping me off of the floor as he led me outside. In front of the store was a huge hummer. The smile on the boys faces were prominent as they got in the front seat.

I was glad that I got the backseat to myself.

"Thank you for not leaving without me," I said as Oli started the drive to who knows where.

"Alan wanted to, but I'm not a dick so you're welcome," Oli smiled.

I didn't question Alan's actions, because I knew why. He would always be the stupid idiot I knew in high school. Nothing changed about him, and nothing ever will change.
