Blake's POV

I felt like the tears would never stop. That baby was the only part of Mike I had left and now he was gone. Replaced with Alan's baby.

"Blake, are you okay?" Alan asked as he came into the room. He brushed some hair off of my forehead and looked at me concernedly.

I shook my head as I tried to stop the tears. Rachelle explained to him what had happened and his expression turned sad.

"Oh god... I'm so sorry Blake," Alan said, clutching my hand as he also began to cry. "It's all my fault, isn't it?"

"It's not... none of it is your fault. I-it's my fault," I stammered as I squeezed Alan's hand. I still had him, and that was all that mattered. I had to put the past behind me, no matter how hard it was. It was what Mike wanted.

"I love you so much, Blake. We'll raise this baby together, I promise."

"Alan, can I um... talk to you?" Rachelle asked, awkwardly.

"What is it?" Alan asked, quickly wiping away his tears.

"I just want to do a test to see if the blood transfusion went alright for you," she replied.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" I asked, immediately panicking as I sat up a bit. "Is he going to be okay? Is there anything I can do?"

"Blake, calm down. It's just... a checkup. I'm sure he's fine."

"I'll stay right in here with you," Alan said as he stood up and walked over to Rachelle. "I um... everything will be... oh god." Suddenly Alan's body fell lifelessly and Rachelle caught him. I screamed and got up, running over to him.

I also felt light headed as I helped Rachelle put Alan onto the bed. She immediately started hooking him up to heart monitors.

"Oh god, oh god, oh god," I cried as I sat beside him. I held his cold hand in mine and the tears started again. "Please tell me he's going to be ok. Mike... please," I whispered.

"I... I don't understand," Rachelle murmured.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing... that's what I don't understand. His heart is stable, his blood is clean... but he's comatose."

"Comatose? Like, in a coma comatose?"

Rachelle nodded. "The only thing we can do now is wait."

"I'm not leaving."

"I know. I'll stay with you for as long as it takes. I'll go tell everyone what's going on," she said as she left the room to find everyone else.

"Alan... please," I sobbed as I stared at his lifeless face.

"Blake," I heard someone whisper. I turned around and saw Mike. He looked worried.

"Oh my god, what's wrong?"

"Alan... I can see him. He's lost."

"What do you mean he's lost?"

"He's a spirit, Blake."

I gasped and looked at Alan's heart monitor. There were no crazy beeping sounds or anything. It was all completely stable. "I don't understand. He's still alive, he's just in a coma."

"His physical body is in a coma, but his spirit is awake. You won't be able to see him, but I can talk to him for you. I'll make sure everything gets taken care of, Blake. I promise," Mike said, determinedly.

He was about to walk away, but I stopped him. "Mike... wait. Our baby... is he okay?" I asked. I felt extremely stupid, but I felt like Mike of all people should know, since he seems to know everything now that he's dead.

He smiled, knowingly. "He woke you up, hun. He's up in heaven with me, watching over you."

I sighed, my heart lifting a bit. "Ok... thank you, Mike."

"I love you," he said before disappearing through the doorway.

"I love you too," I whispered, turning back to Alan. Everything that has been happening is too weird for my brain to comprehend. Who knew I could talk to ghosts? I thought all of that was fiction, but I guess I was very wrong.

"Hey Blake, any changes?" Rachelle asked, coming back into the room. Everyone followed behind her and looked at Alan with depressed gazes.

I shook my head. "I'm sure he'll be alright. He always finds a way to come around," I murmured. (A/N: omg it was just at 666 words i love my job xD)

"Well, Oli, Danny and me are going to stay here with you, and everyone else is going to go home and take trips visiting," Rachelle explained as Oli wrapped me in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. I tightly hugged him back, letting him know that everything was alright.

"We'll see you tomorrow," Vic said as Matt and Ben followed him out the door.

"Danny, I know you're only staying here because Oli is here and you don't want him to do anything with Rachelle. But please don't start any drama shit because that is one thing that none of us need right now," I mumbled, still staring at Alan because I couldn't find the courage to tell him that while looking in his eyes.

"I know. Alan... he was a real jerk, but he doesn't deserve this," Danny sighed.

"It's not was, Danny. He still is a jerk," I said, causing everyone to chuckle a bit. "He's a very unconcious jerk... but still a jerk."

"I guess that makes sense. I'm surprised he didn't kill me for stealing his car a billion times. He has some sort of a temper control, that's for sure."

I nodded. I was reminded of all those times in high school when I made him angry. He always had that murderous look in his eyes, but he never really hurt anything but my feelings. But that was all behind us now.

"Music really calms him down," Oli added.

Suddenly, the heart monitor began making very strange beeping noises. My heart rate increased as Rachelle's eyes widened as she tried to figure out what was wrong. Then, all of the sudden, Alan's eyes shot open and he sat up.

He turned to me. "Blake... you're in danger."
