Mistaken Love

Chapter 28: Fever

Beep...beep...beep...

*yawn*

It was morning and I was greeted by the sunlight shining into my room. I came back last night after meeting Krystal and Charlotte quite late and I'm not sure if Mark is mad that I did not be his teddy bear last night...

I remembered Mark said that he's taking me on a date today so I think I should start to get ready already.

I went to my closet and it took me like 10 minutes to pick out the clothes that I think it's perfect. I wore a white sleeveless cropped top and than match it with a ripped short jeans.

I put on a little bit of make up and than I tied my hair into a messy bun. I wore some accessories and than I looked at my bracelet that Mark gave me and also my necklace. Well the only way we can take off this bracelet is by this key necklace but I don't think so we need to take it off.

I grabbed my bag and than I head downstairs to see the guys eating well...I can't see Mark around.

"Good morning oppa!"
I greeted.

"Good morning princess, looking pretty today, going on a date with Mark hyung?"
Jackson asked and I nodded happily.

"He's not awaken yet?"
I asked

"Maybe still dressing up handsomely for you..."
BamBam smirked and I blushed.

I started to eat my breakfast and it've been past 30 minutes, what took him so long? I'm even done eating and I'm already doing my dishes.

"Noona, we're heading out, see you tonight, bye."
Yugyeom spoke up suddenly from the back of me.

"Oh neh, have fun, bye."
I said and they left.

I'm still waiting for Mark, should I go and check him out in his room?

I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and as I was doing it, my shoulder became heavy and a pair of arm was around my waist than I could feel the hot breathe beside my neck.

"Mark? Is that you?"
I asked.

"Babe...don't move, let me stay like this for a while, I'm really cold..."
Mark said and I can feel him breathing hardly.

I turned around and Mark's cheeks was all red and than I placed my hand on his forehead and his neck.

"Mark! You're burning hot! Pabo! You're having a high fever!"
I said and than I quickly brought him back to his room again.

I placed him gently on his bed and than I put on his blanket for him. I quickly went downstairs to get a thermometer and than I came upstairs to check it.

"Open your mouth Mark."
I said and he did as what I told.

I placed the thermometer into his mouth and than took it out after a few minutes.

"43 degrees Celsius?! Mark! Why didn't you told me you're sick?"
I asked in mad tone.

"I'm fine, wait for me, I'll go and take a shower and I'll come downstairs."
Mark said and he was about to get up again but I pushed him down.

"Pabo! You're sick already, stay here, I'll go and get some medicine for you."
I said and than I head downstairs.

"Charine, can you prepare a bucket of water and than a handkerchief than bring it up to Mark's room."
I requested and she nodded.

I went to look for some medicine and it seems like I can't find any.

I went back upstairs as I soaked the handkerchief into the bucket of water than I placed it on Mark's head.
