Chapter 16: Roses

*Ashley's p.o.v*

Justin: I'm so sorry Ashley
Justin: Please forgive me

I look at the messages a little bit longer.

"Who is it" Giselle asks.

"Uhm Justin" I say and show her the text messages.

"At least he texts. Some boys don't even pick up their phones" she says referring to her boyfriend.

I start typing.

Ashley: I'm sorry too.

Justin: For what? You didn't do anything wrong. I was just being an asshole again and I'm sorryyyy. See I told u I have trust issues. Forgive me..

Ashley: I thought you shut down the electricity, so I would have an attack. Guess we both jumped into conclusions. And I forgive you.

"I can leave if you want"Giselle says jokingly.

"Oh I'm so sorry I just got caught up and no you're staying" I say while smiling.

I get another text from Justin.

"Let me just answer him real quick" I say and Giselle smiles.

Justin: Oh... I will find out who did that. I'll come over tomorrow. Is that okay? I have to make up for it... again hahaha

Ashley: Because you're an assholeeee hahaha. Yeah that's fine.

"So how's your relationship going?" I ask her after I laid my phone down and looked up at her.

"Uhm I ended it today. I coukdn't take it anymore. He cheated again." she says not really sad since she saw that coming.

"Wow and you didn't have the need to tell me that if I didn't ask you. Are you okay?" I say jokingly.

"You were on a date Ashley and yes actually I'm okay that wasn't a good relationship, I'm better now." she says smiling.

"You can always text me Giselle" I say.

"I know, thanks" she says.

"Ashley I think you should sleep now. It's late and you had a long day" she says caringly.

"Oh no mom, I don't want to" I say childishly.

"But you have to or else you're gonna be tired tommorow in school" she says acting along and we start laughing. I'm so glad that I'm finished with school.

"I really should sleep" I say after I stop laughing.

"You should" she says.

"Stay with me" I say looking at her.

"Giiirl, who said I'm leaving?" She says and I laugh again.

I move away so she also has room to sleep and she lays down.

"Good night Giselle" I whisper.

"Good night" she says back.

I then slowly drifted to sleep.

- The next morning-

My eyes slowly start to open. Hospital beds aren't really comfortable ughhh
Wait? Where is Giselle?

I sit up and turn around and see Justin. JUSTIN?

"Uhm hey" He says.

"Hi, what are you doing here?" I ask him rubbing my eyes.

"I wanted to visit you and apologize again" He says.

"You don't have to. It's okay now" I say leaning back.

"Yes, I have to. I am really sorry Ashley." He says.

"I already forgave you Justin" I say while smiling and he smiles back.

I see beautiful red roses and a piese of paper on the desk right beside my bed. "Who are these from?" I ask still looking at them.

"I bought you them, but the note isn't from me." He simply says.

"They are beautiful, thank you. I love roses" I say while a big smile forms on my face. The roses are so beautiful.

"Glad you like it." He says. I then pick up the note and start reading it.

Have to do some things. I'll call you later.

I set the note back onto the desk.

"Are you feeling better?" Justin asks me.

"Yeah, a lot" I say while smiling.

"You'll be released today right?" He asks curious.

"I mean I hope so " I say smiling and add "Yes".

"Wanna hangout?" He asks with hopefully eyes.

I still wonder why he wants to hangout with me. I'm such a normal girl. He could hangout with anyone in the world. After all this shit we've beeb trough in this short amount of time he still wants to hangout with me.

"Sure. Any plans?" I ask him.

"Whatever you wanna do" He simply says while smiling.

"What about visiting the orphanage? The kids would be so happy and I haven't been there for a long time. I missed them" I say.

"That's a good idea." He says while smiling wide.

Right then the doctor comes in. "Mrs. Miller, everything okay?" He asks me. "Yeah absolutely. I feel much better" I say while smiling.

"That's nice to hear. Alright then, you can check out and leave whenever you want" He says nicely.

"Thank you for everything" I say politely. "It's my job" he says smiling and leaves the room.

I stand up to pack my stuff. "Do you need any help?" I hear Justin ask. "No, thank you. It won't take long" I answer him.

"Okay, do you want to go home first?" He asks me. "Yeah. I have to take a shower than we can go to the orphanage" I say while taking out the roses from the vase.

"You aren't gonna throw them away right?" He asks jokingly. "Actually...that's a good idea." I say playing along. He acts shocked. "No you stupid boy, I'll take them home. They are too beautiful to throw them away" I add. "Just like you" He says.

I'm shocked. I didn't see that coming. I feel my cheecks  already getting hot. I smile at him as a thank you.

"We can go now" I tell him. "Let's go" He simply says and takes my bag.

I check out and we walk ot the hosital. Justin leads me to his car and we get in. He starts the car and we drive away.

I quickly text Giselle that I'm on my way home.

"We should get those kids some gifts" Justin says. "Oh yes, we should. They'll be so happy" I say smiling.

Then my phone vibrates. I grab it and unlock it.

1 New Message.

Blocked number: I wish you died.

What the fucking hell?! Who is this?
